HM3: Belts fitted to the Female body

I've just updated the main HeroMachine 3 application with support for a new set of items, "BeltStandardFemale". It is a duplicate of the "BeltStandard" set, but with all of the items redrawn and/or repositioned to fit the Standard female body (the first one in Body-Female-Standard). The hip lines are different and the overall position of the belts lower than on the male, so now you don't have to move and size them manually (and still have weird angles that you have to mask to the body to get rid of).

Still to come in the great male-female conversion are all of the facial features, Neckwear, and Pants. And all of the alternate bodies. Ugh.

If you don't see the new set appear on the drop down list, clear your browser's cache (and only the cache, not cookies or other saved data!) and reload the page. If you see it on the list but it won't load, do the same thing.

Character Contest #H05 “Musketeers” Winner

It has been a been busy around here for the last two days, I feel like I'm running on fumes. There were a lot of great entries this week, to hard to pick the top five, even harder to pick the winner. Many of you took the word Musketeers and ran with it, going in different direction all at once. Which is a good thing because these contest are to make you be creative and even think outside of the box. Everyone one of you did a great job and some did it multiple times. There were all shapes and sizes of musketeers, some from the past and some from the future. New musketeers and old musketeers, male and female musketeers. Even some other heroes from the past filling in as musketeers. If you think about it the Three(4) Musketeers really was the first super hero team out there, so I can see replacement members from time to time filling in where needed. So from horse, to motorcycles, to spaceship, I give you the "Musketeers" in no particular order.

I must apologize for the lettering on the last two pages, I was past the worn out stage by the time I got to them. I might go back and redo them in the future.

And the Winner is Kellkin, great job.

Quick and Easy Challenge #3 “Hair Style” Winner

Well, when HK said this challenge was to design a hairdo for females, I thought, "Oh yeah, this sounds like my kind of challenge." Then he told me that I couldn't enter because I was going to be the Judge. Darn!

Wow ya'll have really outdone yourselves on this one. There were alot of standouts. I would like to know just how many hair pieces you had to use Harlequin on your entries. I really liked your second entry, very well put together. And Kieth_Kanin, no one said it had to be a pretty HUMAN female, did they? Nice job on the feline hair, that's pretty darn cool. Worf, I like that you chose to do both of your's using the same character. I like the hair up/down concept. That was how I was wanting HK to make this challenge, but he has other things in mind.

Everyone did an outstanding job and I don't have enough room or time to go over just what I like about each and every one.

So without further ado, My pick for this challenge is djuby's female hairstyle. I like the otherworldliness of it. It reminds me of a character that I made up in one of HK's stories that had long hair that she would wear in a braid with metal objects in it to use as a weapon. I could so totally see this one in the story.

Thank you to everyone that entered, and congratulations to djuby on a job very well done.

BE SURE TO SAVE YOUR TEXTS FROM THIS CHALLENGE. YOU WILL FIND OUT WHY LATER.

For today's Challenge it is time for a new hair style. Simple, all you need is the head, neck, hair and a nice pretty face. There is no easy out, it can not be a simple hair item from the Hair section, it has to be a custom hair design. Plus my lovely wife Isia will be doing the judging for today, and for the challenge for next week. She says there is no limit this week, but make sure you keep your character and text for next weeks challenge. Same rules as always it must be HM only, no other programs (except for cropping) can be used.how-to-post-cartoon-620x799Quick Note -Contests

Good luck and happy Machining.
