This weeks victim of the SuperHero fashion police is Image Comics resident Wolverine wanna be Deadlock!

 

 

As I said Logan wants his mask back and he is super mad that Deadlock seems to have gotten some bleach on it!!! I know that a fair number of image's character are total rip offs of Marvels work but I have to say I have never been a fan of Wolverine's taste in costumes, and this little number takes all the bad fashion ques from Logan's attire and then makes it worse!!! I am just surprised that his this is from image that the character isn't toting about a huge Gun or sword, and doesn't have spikes or pouches littering his person though he does have move then his fair share of apparently unless straps and buckles!

Character Contest #H03 Winner

This week's contest was to design a 70's type character. Everyone did a great job with these. It was a hard decision to pick a winner. Below are the characters that were submitted. Some characters were not listed because we could not access them with the link provided. We picked out our top 5 favorites, although they were ALL good. The top 5 are labeled in no particular order. I hope you enjoyed this challenge as much as I did. Congrats to all who entered for a job well done, and Congrats to the winner.

Ultimately, we picked ams' "Hai Karate." This character pretty much screams 70's because, let's face it, who didn't have/want a set of nunchucks? Congratulations ams, and to everyone else, keep the characters coming.

Poll Position: Firestar vs Firehawk

I think this weeks poll is going to be a heated one!!

That's right, this week I pit the microwave wielding Firestar vs the nuclear powered Firehawk. Both ladies though using a different form of radiation but use that power to similar effect. Both are capable of flight, both can throw around  bolts of fiery heat, and both are able to focus heat on a object from a distance by concentration alone.

I find it difficult to select a winner on this one. On first blush one would think Nuclear power would be stronger then Microwave energy however firestar has demonstrated at time what would appear to be great levels of power then her revival in this contest though not on a consistent basis.  I am going to go on my gut and my personal preference  on this one and declare as my choice Firestar as the winner.
