Hey guys, sorry this is late. As I explained in the last post, I just haven't had much time this week. At least I got it done. As requested, this week I'm tackling anime style faces and hair, along with Japanese honourifics and the custom colours. I apologise for the horrible loud sound right at the beginning, I got carried away and clapped during the intro, completely forgetting I wasn't on camera.

So, we did snowmen last week,what festive fun are we having this week? Well, if the title didn't give it away, I might as well say now. This week your task is to find a nice Christmas tree and decorate it. Presents are compulsory (what sort of Christmas tree would it be without presents), but I don't mind how you decorate it otherwise, you can go fairy lights, baubles, tinsel (joke: what do you get if you eat Christmas decorations? Tinsel-itus………….. anyway) and you can have either a star or a fairy on top. Just make it look good. Make it look like the sort of thing you would put up in your house for the festive season.
As per usual, no limits on entries this week and the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). The winner gets to claim a custom made item from dblade to be put into heromachine, so long as the item conforms to his prize rules, which you can find here: http://www.heromachine.com/forum/the-heromachine-art-gallery/dblades-whiz-bang-item-dispenser/. Ok guys, as with last year, it's time for our Character Of The Year contest. The idea is very simple, I take all of the CDC winners from throughout the year and put them into a number of polls. Who goes in which polls is decided using a Random Name Selector, so I have not control over who goes where. The winners of these polls after a weeks worth of voting then get put into a final poll that will run from next Sunday until Christmas Eve, where the winner will be announced and put into the Hall Of Fame (I am aware that two of these CDC winners have already been entered into the Hall Of Fame, so obviously if they win they won't get entered again, we'll just go with who ever gets second place).
Anyway, without further ado, lets get started.

That's right, singular this week. We actually had an outright winner this time…. I know, amazing isn't it. Two people did run away with this poll from the start, between them accumulating 70% of the votes between them. But our winner was always in a clear lead and it was obvious who was going to win from when the votes started coming in. And I'm ok with that, because it gives me a chance to say something that hasn't been said in a couple of years. And isn't it ironic that, to round of the triumvirate of version challenges, the person who wins the HM3 challenge is none other than Zyp, for his redesign of Melmo44's Phaeya. congratulations Zyp, please speak to dblade about your prize, and well done to everyone else who entered, not just this challenge but all three of the version challenges, it's been great fun.
