After a short delay I have finished Luna’s revamp. It’s quite an overhaul costume wise and I think it works better.

It’s a shame this finished. It was a good idea and a great read.

As you can see from my previous picture, Abomination would appear to have defeated the CERBERUS team in quite an epic fight, which gave me an idea.  With my heroes dead it gives me a chance to rebirth them. (Just a long winded way of saying – “Hey I’m gonna do some revamps!”)

    So first up is Goldstar.

@Suleman : Thanks man! Bridge Protector was and is still my favourite picture I’ve created, before I started shading. As for the redo, I went with a pose which, back then, I wouldn’t have dared try and it shows, if only to me, how much I have improved but also how much more I can improve.

Yes I have returned from my short absence. There were some exams and family matters, but for now it looks to be fairly calm for the near future.

Onto my new picture – Abomination.

(A little) Bio: I have previously hinted at one of A.E.G.I.S’s projects titled ‘CERBERUS’, which most importantly gave it’s name to the hero team against A.E.G.I.S. I also hinted as to a ‘Weapon’ to wipe out all Gifted. The bio-weapon was actually engineered to terminate the CERBERUS project. The CERBERUS project was an experiment to see how many ‘Gifts’ one person could have. The result was an Abomination, no longer a person, no longer ‘Human’. All the genetic manipulation to increase the acceptance of new ‘Gene’ variations and to prevent rejection resulted in a vastly changed appearance and mental state. It is unknown as to how many ‘Gifts’ Abomination has but it is widely assumed it was incorporated with samples from all of the subjects A.E.G.I.S studied, but even then it is unknown how many were accepted, mutated or even merged.

An entry for the CDC – contest again. The first of my pictures to ever make it onto a poll, bridge protector.

Hey I can’t believe I didn’t notice this earlier, but I have a suggestion. My idea is similar to Nug’s final suggestion. Start a picture and then post the text for us to finish. I’m not sure quite how it would work but I thought I would suggest it anyway.

Well I do have an idea of how it could work, but it would require a whole new kind of CDC.

Another rouge I had been working on, then kinda just left, but I returned to finish him off. He’s one of those pictures where you start off with the best of intentions, then you realise it’s not quite turning out how you want it, but you don’t want to just scrap it so you come back and finish it later. Though having said that I don’t think he turned out that bad in the end. The shading could have been better, but once you start you can’t really turn back.

Anyway on with the bio! Lewis James was your average kid (weren’t they all?), except he had heterochromia, except it wasn’t heterochromia in fact it turned out that his mismatched eyes and strange birthmark were actually the result of a seal placed on him at birth. The origin of the seal and reason for it are unknown and it probably has to do with whatever happened before he turned five (which is his earliest memory). Another result of the seal is his ability to create lifelike illusions. As long as those seeing the illusions believe that they are real then they will have substance and can do harm to others. He goes by the name of Hex and is quite the troublemaker.

A new rouge: Starchild. Starchild is the son of Goldstar, his abilities are pretty much identical, but he has adapted his suit to allow him to concentrate his built up energy in his eyes and release an optical blast of energy. He has also learnt to draw from his stores of energy for sustenance and also to boost his natural strength. Of course he can still draw on it to enable him to move at high speeds and if fast enough even ‘fly’ by vibrating the air molecules around him to push him upwards. He is one of Echo’s best friends and allies in the fight against the newly resurfaced A.E.G.I.S, also Echo is one of the only few left to have known his father and the truth about his death.

Dude! Aviator is astounding. You definitely know your way around the machine, but then again that’s already pretty obvious isn’t it.

I think a lot of this weeks CDC entries are HoF worthy. Keep at it!

Yeah everyone really brought their A-game. Thanks man.

    @Maverik1313
: I’m not sure what to say to that. Thank You!

Here, I’ve cleaned it up a little, so there should be a lot less overlap now. Oh and I gave it a bit of a background too.

Welcome Tim. I like your pics, they are definitely creative. I’d like to impart a little advice: it’s perfectly fine if you don’t like tutorials, but you shouldn’t let it stop you from improving your skills. Mess around with the machine and you will discover things you didn’t think we’re possible.

We’re all friends here, criticism is always welcome, just as long as it is constructive and not just plain insulting other people.

    Keep machining!
