Vampyrist's Friday Night Fights 3 prize is done and live, an unbuttoned suit coat in Tops-Male-Coats:
I didn't put sleeves on it as there are two other suit coat sleeves already present. Enjoy!

Update: This was originally a "celebrity profile" quiz but after an hour I decided I hated that, so I changed it to guns.
Get ready for your pop quiz, kids! Your one-day quick-fire challenge is:
You only get one entry -- that's right, just one! So make it your best. No backgrounds or elaborate scenes, just a cool looking gun of some sort.
Most of the other rules are the same as for a regular contest, but instead of a whole week I'll announce the winner either tonight or first thing in the morning.
Good luck! Hopefully this won't be too tall of an order for a one-day Pop Quiz.

This week's Sharing Day topic is:
If you could be any character in the entire Star Wars extended universe (movies, books, comics, cartoons, whatever), who would you be and why?
If you like, in return for answering my question to you, you may ask a question of me on any topic and I'll do my best to answer honestly and completely. Just leave your reply (and question, if any) as a comment. The goal is to learn a little more about our community and to put some positive vibes out there on this Spring Break-like Friday!
As for me and my answer to this question ... I'm tempted to be boring and go with Han Solo, who gets to be both footloose and fancy free as well as being a Prince. What's not to love about that?! On the other hand, he's got a history of running bad risks, and that kind of person might not be happy stuffed into the role of politician. So I think I'd probably go with being even MORE boring and choose Luke Skywalker. The idea of being able to start the Jedi Academy over again and doing it right is appealing, and of course there's all the Force stuff. Plus I look stellar in black.
Now, over to you!

Two of the hottest archers in the history of film (and books!) square off in today's (well, Tuesday's, technically, but since I can't keep my days straight it's today) head-to-head "Versus".
Katniss Everdeen of "The Hunger Games" has smarts and guts in spades. She cares deeply about those around her and is willing to fight for her beliefs. Other people trust her and want to support her, especially when she's on fire. She's clearly an excellent archer with ample woodcraft. Also, her movie is currently out while Legolas', being more than a month old, has already been forgotten.
Legolas Greenleaf of "The Lord of the Rings", however, is an elf. He's thousands of years old, pale, lives in the perpetual gloom of a mighty forest, and ... wait, if this guy sparkles in sunlight I'm out of here. No? Phew! He's capable of astounding feats of agility, acrobatics, and courage. He can rapid-fire arrows while skateboarding on a shield and looking like solid hotness! He can scale and kill giant war-mammoths, he can use an arrow like a spear, and he has gloriously long blond hair. At the end of his story, unfortunately, he decides to give up on the planet and become a sailor. Or something, frankly the Silmarillion never made sense to me.
The point is, Legolas' elfin ass is going to bail on us, while good ol' human Katniss wants to save us all. For that alone, I go with Ms. Everdeen!
Make your case in the comments and cast your votes, folks!

This is Benjamin Grimm, also known as the ever-lovin' Thing, as he was originally envisioned by the great Jack Kirby and Stan Lee:
He's a man whose body has been unwillingly transformed into a hulking, rocky, inhuman form. His soul aches to be normal again, even while the world runs in fear from his tortured visage.
This is the common pineapple, also known as a tasty fruit snack:
Now, I have nothing against tasty fruit, and I have in fact been known to indulge myself in the tart goodness the beloved pineapple brings to the palette on more than one occasion. I also am a fan of The Thing, who brings some great pathos and tragedy to the First Family of Fantasticness.
However, these two worlds should not meet. I mean, Ben Grimm can eat all the pineapple he wants, he just shouldn't become one. Unfortunately, at some point Marvel missed that memo:
Oh, I know, he's supposed to be spiky and extreme, because if Image Comics taught us anything, they taught us that pointy is cool. But it doesn't come off as savage or wicked or awesome. It comes off like pineapple. And no one fears pineapples. Though maybe that's what Ben wanted, maybe now he can open his massive arms and cry "Hug me, I'm fruity!" and the people will love him at last!
If so, I fear he's in for yet more disappointment.
Look, if you're going to continue the cosmic ray-induced metamorphosis of Mr. Grimm, turn him into an orange. He's already that color, after all, so it's not that much of a stretch. But a pineapple? Please.

Our little stuffed bunny has paused outside the zombie-ridden street in front of his Celica, pondering his next fluffy move. Dive into the car and race for the nearest carrot patch, or dash away dash away dash away home on his hoppity little bunny feet?
