Character Design Contest āÆ133 (Great Intelligence) Winner
Well, hiding the poll result seems to have worked. This weeks poll had almost double the votes of last weeks and the top three were separated by less than 15 votes, so it wasn't a run away victory either. I wouldn't say that it threw up any real surprises either, because the two pictures I thought would win were the top 2, all be it in reverse order of how I expected them to finish. But anyway, I'm rambling. This weeks winner was Cliff for his entry,Ā Dr Mental. Congrats Cliff and well done to all our other entries.

Pop Quiz ā To Be, Or Not To Beā¦A Hero Or A Villain?

On August 15th, 1057 - Macbeth, the King of Scotland, was killed by the son of King Duncan.
Your Pop Quiz challenge this time around is to choose one of Shakespeareās classic characters and re-imagine them as a modern day superhero or villain. Add a brief (brief!) description of their powers, or let the image stand on itsā own.
There is no prize. There is no poll. The winner is chosen by me.
You only get one entry so be creative, and above all else, have fun!
All entries must be in JPG or PNG formĀ (BMPs are too big), posted to a publicly accessible website (likeĀ the HeroMachine forums,ImageShack,Ā PhotoBucket, or whatever);

Character Of The Week: AMS- Mirage
Ok, first things first, sorry there wasn't a COTW up last Friday. I'd had a very busy end to the week and I just forgot. Stuff happens sometimes unfortunately, but don't worry I won't make a habit of it. Anyway, to make up for it, have some AMSing art. Why? Because he's the best. Always was, probably always will be. Flash fact. Oh and anyone who says that this face isn't one of the most beautiful they've seen done in heromachine needs to go replace their eyes because they are obviously broken. Same goes for the costume.

Happy Birthday Kaldath
Today marks the birthday of our head moderator Kaldath, so I thought it would be a good idea for us all to take a moment out to thank Kaldath for all he does for the Heromachine community and wish him a Happy Birthday. He's taking a week off for personal reasons, so hopefully we can all make him feel better.
So hope you have a great birthday dude. Thanks for keeping us lot in line.

HM3: Boots, Belts, and Badashery
Moar as promised.
Some prize winners from the past. Vectorman316's prize requestĀ was the boots. These can be found in FootRight/MaleTech and Legwear/Kneepads. And Yautja's prize requestĀ was the belt/suspenders/pouch which can be found in Belt/Military.
I hope you don't mind but I got really swoll so I could model these items properly.

Character Design Contest āÆ134- Itemised
Ok guys, earlier this week MadJack was kind enough to provide us with a plethora of new items to use. You can find a list of them here. So your challenge this week is simple. You must create an image using any three of these items. That's it. Well no actually that's not it. You must use items from three different sub-categories (e.g. headgear-standard, headgear-glasses and insignia-shapes would be a viable combination, but not three from insignia-shapes, so no blood-splatter overuse). Hopefully that's clear enough.
As per usual, no limits on entries and the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). Please read the contest rules before entering, have fun and good luck.
Rules for posts, contests, and challenges that I am hosting: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPGās or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warnings. Only post characters that you have either created for this contest specifically or you know for certain have never been entered to a contest before. If you arenāt certain, donāt enter it, because Iām not going to go back through all of the contests and check.
