Sometimes the wellspring of invention runs dry and you need some help coming up with a cool concept for a character to design. If that happens to you, or if you’re just looking for a challenge, experience what it’s like to take someone else’s vision and bring it to life. Head on over to Reddit’s “Character Drawing” subreddit and look for entries marked “[LFA]” (Looking For Art). People give descriptions of their characters and you can reply with your version.
If you do, please tell them you came from HeroMachine and give the link. Also, I’d love to hear about it as well.

Ok guys, I’ve finished putting together this years Creators Club poster. First, I’d like to thank all the creators who entered, seeing all your work was really awesome. Sorry, a few people didn’t send me the text files for their entries so they didn’t end up on the poster (I struggled to fit everyone on as it is).
You might want to open it in a new tab to see it in more detail. Funny thing is, the poster was much bigger than it ended up whilst I was creating it, something must have got compressed during the export, so sorry about that.
If anyone else wants to do next years poster, I’m ok with that, but otherwise I’ll try to come up with an interesting theme for this time next year.
Ok guys, back to the OS challenges, and this week I want you to create an elemental hero or villain, that is a character that can control some sort of elemental power (e.g. Fire). Your character can be modern, silver or golden age in style, but I want to see them using their powers, so fire effects, bolts of electricity, jets of water, all that stuff.
As usual, no entry limit and the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). The winner gets to claim a custom made item from dblade to be put into heromachine, so long as the item conforms to his prize rules, which you can find here: https://www.heromachine.com/forum/the-heromachine-art-gallery/dblades-whiz-bang-item-dispenser/. This weeks on Kaldath’s Character Challenge I am going to do things a little different. This week I am going to give you two character too choose from and asked you to pick one or the other to redesign based only on character name as well as my rendition of the character should you choose to keep the character in the spirit of my design. I am sorry for this being post this late in the day, and I want to thank Jeff for stepping in yesterday to play guest Judge om my caption contest, I had a very bad day yesterday dealing with some personal family issues. Anyway here we go!

Apparently this particular character wasn’t very popular with our community and we only got three entries, not enough for a top five, so I will just tell you the winner this week. I was torn between the entries made by JayKingSta and Melmo44 but in the end I choose ……………………

Kaldath’s had some pressing real-life stuff come up at the last minute and so I’m pinch-hitting for him as a guest judge on his last caption contest. The entries were a real hoot, thanks to everyone who chimed in!
He asked you to come up with the best replacement dialogue for this panel, and to make it even tougher all entries had to be in rhyme (to honor the demon Etrigan, who only speaks thus).
