Greeting everyone, I have decided to try something a little new here on the HeroMachine blog and have started what I am calling “Kaldath’s Corner”.  In these posts I am just going to be discussing things that I “Kaldath” like, be it music, books, movies, TV shows, what have you! The catch with this is it will not be a schedules weekly feature and instead will be posted when something catches mt attention enough that I want to talk about it. Hopefully with this loose format and posting schedule I will not get burned out on it and you the reader won’t get too bored with the contest! So let’s get started!

Character Design Contest ♯69- Non-Humanoid

For this weeks challenge I want you guys to create something in a non-humanoid form. As long as it’s a living being without the standard one head, two arms and two legs (in the normal positions) then it’s applicable. Hopefully this should give y’all an opportunity to get creative.

As per usual, no limits on entries this week and the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). The winner gets to claim a custom made item from dblade to be put into heromachine, so long as the item conforms to his prize rules, which you can find here: https://www.heromachine.com/forum/the-heromachine-art-gallery/dblades-whiz-bang-item-dispenser/. Please read the contest rules before entering, have fun and good luck.

Rules for posts, contests, and challenges that I am hosting: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warnings. Only post characters that you have either created for this contest specifically or you know for certain have never been entered to a contest before. If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because I’m not going to go back through all of the contests and check.

This post is for the new people wanting to post their art in the forums for contest or just to share. If you are having any trouble making your own Art Gallery please feel free to ask for help. In the past we have had people posting their characters in other peoples galleries or to topics not related to the Gallery, I would like to try to help stop this. If you do not know how to set things up just ask, I will try to help the best that I can with any problem you have. All of the Moderators for the forums are some of the nicest people you could every meet, and are willing to help out. If there is a problem understanding how things work in the forums, please ask for help. I would like to see more people sharing their art with us in the forums. It is a great place to go and a great place to post your characters for the contest.

All 32 Marvel Movies since 1998 Ranked

Mighty God King has ranked all 32 Marvel movies released since 1998 and while I haven’t seen all of the entries, I think he has the others in about the right order. I just saw “Winter Soldier” a couple of nights ago and I am still pumped up about it. Usually I think of “Iron Man” as the top film, but he has a point about the closing act being fairly weak, particularly after seeing the Winter Soldier fight scenes.

Power User Profiles: ExtremelyEpic

So, I am again doing another one off PUP. And this time we’re going to take a look at someone who can only be described as a Mech-Expert. His work frequently stuns me, using items in ways I never thought they could or would be used. He also does some pretty kick-ass landscape works as well, which really show of his skill at atmospheric shading (if you go to his galleries one the forums or deviantart check out a pic call Trapped, it really exemplifies this. Oh and Abyss. Actually, just check it all out, it’s worth it). Plus he has a very apt username. So ladies, gentlemen and mechanical lifeforms, please welcome ExtremelyEpic.

The usual rules apply, You are limited to Three (3) entries which are due by 12 noon Eastern Time on Tuesday April 14th.  Of course I as always expect you to keep your entries no worse then PG-13 in nature and that you follow all the normal rules of the forum when writing your caption for the above image.
