So guys, this week I want you to create a character from a fantasy setting. So I want warriors and wizards, elves and ogres, dwarves and dragons, goblins, gremlins mages and alchemists. Basically, if it’s in Dungeons and Dragons or a J.R.R Tolkien book it is applicable here. I know a few people on here to whom this sort of stuff is their bread and butter, so this should be good.
As per usual, no limits on entries this week and the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). Rules for posts, contests, and challenges that I am hosting: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warnings. Only post characters that you have either created for this contest specifically or you know for certain have never been entered to a contest before. UPDATE 04/29/2014: Ignore this post, the core issue has been fixed and exporting from Chrome is now working again.
I’ve found a workaround so you can get the Image Exporter in HeroMachine 3 working again. The steps are outlined in this article but I’m reproducing them here. I tried it on my Mac install of Chrome and it worked great, taking no more than thirty seconds.
To disable the new PepperFlash:
Note: If no video will play or the website says that Flash is not installed after disabling PepperFlash, go back and Read Step 4 again more carefully.

I have to say, whilst the Costume Design Contest we did for CDC 41 is still my favourite contest I’ve hosted, this weeks poll has got to have had the highest quality of entrants we’ve ever had for any poll, it was outstanding. And in the end it came down to 3 votes that decided who won this clash of titans. And I’m happy to announce that this weeks winner is ExtremelyEPIC for his piece War. I’d just like to let everyone know that I have just recently returned to work, and due to the very physical aspect of my job, combined with a broken body and 5 months of down time (as my job lays me off during the winter months) I am experience HUGE amounts of pain on a daily basis. I intend to continue my work here on HeroMachine both as a Author on the blog and Moderator of the site, things just might be a little slow getting approved, and my time table on my blog posts may be off until my body gets used the torrent I am putting it throught ( A lot of lifting/Carrying and walking – roughly 5 miles of walking a night) So I apologize for any inconvenience but I will try my best to get things done in a timely fashion.

No Plagiarism: Anyone who is found to have copied another community members artwork or writings from the stories section of the forum without providing proper credit to the original artist/writer ( preferably with the permission of said artist/writer ) will be banned from using the forum or posting comments to the blog.
