A little better turn out from last time which is great, but you guys are making this very tough. All of these entries are so creative and unique.

First we have Black Tarantula by Mr. Nobody: Really cool and graphic; love the hypnotic background and the squad of little demons.

Next is Silver Lady by Melmo: Very unearthly look and like the pattern work.

Blunt Object's Madam Satan: very interesting colour combination and the creation of the skirt layers is quite cool.

Another Silver Lady - this time by Geno: taking her into the realm of TV was a great idea. Sort of an evil...or more evil...Long Island Medium.

And last, but not least, Whirling Dervish by Brons: great work on the pose and robes.

I've gone back and forth a dozen times on this, but the win this time goes to Geno for Silver Lady. The whole image is striking and is a very interesting take on the character.

(To illustrate how tough this was, I have rewritten the previous paragraph three times...with different winners!)

First of all, I have to send a big thank you out to those who took the time to enter. The Pop Quiz has been MIA for a while, but I hope to rectify that. Check the Blog for future editions cuz you never know what day it will be or how long you will have.

Just fantastic! Wonderful use of items, and I love the water effect you got. On a side note I have to address Ty...brilliant and so well done, but the challenge of a Pop Quiz is what you can create within the given deadline. Please know that there was a lot of love for Ty from this guy.

Next - Geno

Eerily reptilian and a masterful use of disparate items to create a truly epic creature. This guy has attitude!

And finally - Nug

Great use of items - the eyes are so expressive, the tusks are very cool and the way you addressed the body and stance of the creature - and the impending threat - is stellar.

All three are very creative and beautifully rendered, but I have to give the win to Geno. You created a dino-nightmare! Well done, and again, thanks to all who entered.

The plot of Jurassic World (which I am just a little too excited about) – beyond screaming and running for your life – revolves around the danger of creating genetically modified dinosaurs. Well I love danger!
