Jazz Hands and the Flying Torsos, which is NOT the name of my band

I've just updated HandRight-Standard with the following dramatic hand poses:

In addition, BodyMale-Standard has the following headless, flying torso just in case you needed some bad-dream fodder. I was inspired to make this by the flying contest last week, sorry I couldn't get it out faster.

Well, those will come in handy.

    That’s awesome Jeff!
Now it’s time to play with capes and see what looks can be made on that body.

  3. Jeff Hebert says:

Great, thanks CKnap! I’d love to see what you come up with, if you have a chance please share a link or two with us here in this thread.

Also Jeff, if the flying contest resulted in a flying torso, does that mean we’ll be getting some speedster related items next week?

I wish I were that organized. What sorts of things do you have in mind?

  6. Trekkie says:

Dammit JR, you did that pun before me!

    Awesome items, though.

  7. Arioch says:

    Ah yes!!

The more hands, the better! A lot of things can be customised, but not these :-/

    Thank you very much! 😀

Great items, I’m can’t wait to use them.

Got to hand it to you, Jeff, HeroMachine is the gift that keeps on giving. The new hands open up a lot of dramatic potential. Thanks.

  10. Lime says:

The right hand gives, and the left hand is a simple matter of flipping and moving.

  11. JR19759 says:

@Jeff: Not sure, maybe some smaller blur-lines, like the full body one in backplane- auras, but to the scale of items- energy stuff. That could be useful for more specific movement based effects, like thrown objects and punching actions shots, so forth. If you aren’t sure what I mean about the blur-lines, MadJack and MScat used that item in their CDC entries this week.

All these hands are great. I think a perfect compliment to them would be some feet/shoes/boots from different angles.

Had to stop myself before ibroke all the rules, but this is what I first saw with the new torso piece.

    Yipeee………!

Have a request that may be….wait for it……..HANDY!

Your first new hand item image is perfect for holding the barrel end of rifles, machine guns, etc. The problem is that I would use the trigger hand item and mask the rifle item to it. You can only mask one item to another. The new item hand doesn’t work now because it will get stuck behind the gun. I tried masking it to an insignia shape and bringing it to the forground, but you would still see a little bit of the palm. What I getting at is that if, using the same item, remove the palm and thumb and we would now have he perfect item for holding a rifle. Check image – http://www.heromachine.com/wp-content/legacy/forum-image-uploads/ams/2014/01/Hand-holding-gun-reference.PNG

Let me know what you think!

  15. Keric says:

ams ~ until Jeff does that please feel free to use this masking guide!

I don’t know if this works but as AMS stated you can only mask 1 item to another. What I remember doing before is pick a second of the same item example A gun, and mad the trigger finger to the second gun and send the gun to layer 1 and move the hand as far up as needed. Don’t know if this actually works in that kind of situation as I’m on my phone not computer. Just a thought for any future troubles.

Also, check http://www.heromachine.com/2014/01/13/maskless-hands/ for an update to this. I made hands you don’t have to mask to have properly fit on a weapon.
