Good luck on school, Lef.

I’m pretty new around here and I am trying to get through the galleries. It’s really nice to look through them as each individual has a great style all their own and the unique ideas each person has to show are quite wonderful.

Looking through your gallery was great.. so many pictures that really get you looking at them. Thank you for the wonderful art we get to see here and I hope you keep adding more.

I’ve lost a few characters myself. The last one was almost completed and so I  made myself do one thing before I ended each ‘session’. I save the current progress. Then I go into save again and go to the text tab. Right click, select all and copy. I then open Notepad and paste. Then in Notepad I ‘save as’ whatever name  currently calling the artwork. Then I drop that file on my desktop so it’s there when I come back for my next session. Just click on it, select all, copy, and paste that into the heroMachines ‘load’ ‘text’.

Unless your computer goes completely under, you’re not losing that progress.

Entry: Fantasy Satyr

Here is a character I’ve had for years. I’m happy to do a HM3 of him like this finally.
Capt Bezoar is the Satyr captain of the Sea Goat from Arcadia.

(Bezoar is a breed of goat with huge horns, Capricorn is a sea goat with upper half goat and the back half of a fish, which is a shape Pan took when he jumped into the river to flee Typhon’s assault on the Gods.)

“Blue Devil” Giles Black
if there is a type of blues that exists, “The Blue Devil” Giles Black has put his own heart into it.
A blues guitarist, singer, songwriter of undetermined age traveling all across the US Giles Black was something of a black sheep, always into trouble if not actually being the scource of it.
No one knows where he’s originally from, but you can guarentee if there is Blues around “The Blue Devil” will be there with booze by his side.
Giles is of unknown race, but seems a mix of races, most possibly black and white or hispanic.
“The Blue Devil” seems to have been around since the beginning of the Blues, some think the Blue Devil is a title given/or taken by one after another of the Blue Devils’ offspring or desirous students or fans of which there are reported to be many.
Those who believe in mysticism and occultism talk about The Blue Devil being the personification of the blues.
Some speak of him fearing the havoc which surrounds him treating him like a misunderstood banshee believing he brings death when he is only the herald of it. Actually it seems to be the melancholy and/or depression which guarantees the arrival of The Blue Devil
While not the source of the blues he may well be the avatar of it. all the emotion giving over to a physical manifestation.

Here he is in a typical dive, not too different from the original juke joints, the place thick with atmosphere and cigarette smoke with beer spills on the floor as well as on the walls

BARRY KUDA
OK I was originally looking for a scantally clad hero, whose supprised by this who knows me?

and I found Barry Kuda in an orange tarzan/stongman outfit.
But I LOVE the name it is like something I would come up with.
It is really the only thing I kept the same about him.

He supposedly only had water breathing according to the write up.

http://pdsh.wikia.com/wiki/Barry_Kuda

Yet obviously he must have had hyper swimming, as well as some other powers, so I gave him the “Aquatic package”:Thermal Vision to see in the murky depths,
Heightened Strength,
Heightened Toughness,
Heightened Speed all to help him deal with the depths and pressure of deep sea survival.I gave him Teeth & Fins keeping in line with his baracuda name sake,
exchanging it for the heros original spear,

I actually covered him up far more than the original, I gave him a suit more like a baracuda’s markings with a dark blue back and side with stripes along his sides

I figured the punny name coupled with the somewhat fearsome look put him in the violent yet funny genre like Lobo and Deadpool even though those types are NOT my favorites.

so here he is … MY interpretation of Barry Kuda:
