Wow, Cliff! These latest characters are great works!

Out of curiosity, how long did it take to create the Satyr? That is a wonderful work of art there.

You have quite an imagination! I went back through a lot of your past work and there are some that could only come from a good imagination. Well done on all the work here.

Thank you JR and Vengeance! I’m always working on improving the shading/highlighting, it’s very addicting to me for some reason.

I’m also working on trying to be a little more creative with backgrounds (actually adding them for starters, haha) and things like dynamic posing. I’m almost finished with my latest picture which has a first attempt with using the dynamic posing work. I’ll probably have a few other pictures posted before that one though.

One other thing I am currently attempting to do, is i’m about 3 hours into creating a character that is in mid change from skin to crystal form. Lets just say that is an undertaking that is way more involved than I thought it would be, haha.

Great job on both Red Storm and Land Slide. I like how you used the lightning effect on Red Storms outfit and also how you designed the entire outfit in general, very nice!

The gradient effect on Land Slide worked out very nicely. I’m wondering, does he have an ‘earth’ based control over rocks, soil, etc or is this a sonic sort of power?

With the rocks floating behind him I was guessing it was more than sonic blasts that he gets his name from.

And btw, I love your backgrounds!

I think I’m just the opposite, I make the characters, but have a hard time with giving them a good background.

Here’s a character I created for one of our RPG group members. She basically gave me a summary of the characters looks and after a few quick phone calls and texts during the creation process, we got her all finished.

This character is a caster who specializes in Shadowy magic, with some Illusory magic mixed in. I had some really cool ideas for this character, but my friend said she didn’t want her to look evil and she wanted me to make sure I added in her leather armor pieces (since casters don’t often wear armor).

The dagger is magical in nature and will, upon command, float in the air around her to protect her while she is casting spells. The eye symbol is there to represent the magic that is controlling the dagger while it’s active. I didn’t get fancy with the dagger, because we wanted the dagger to be seen just for illustration purposes.

The hound is something she can summon from another dimension (shadow) for a short time each day if needed.

So, here is Hailia.

Nice job! I had to laugh at Chris/Kaitlin as I realized he seemed embarrassed by the picture before I even read the description, so well done on that. What makes it truly funny though is how much fun Vanessa is having with it all, even if Chris/Kaitlin is currently embarrassed.

Thank you for mentioning that Magnus! I was thinking as long as I didn’t remake an actual character from the Star Wars ‘Universe’, it was ok. I was off on that one. I’ll change the description of the character, but if I a moderator needs to remove the character still, that’s understandable.

Herr D, I’m not sure why you can’t get the pics larger. I’m on my work computer now and they go full size when I click on them from here (as well as at home). Thank you for the compliment, it’s much appreciated! Hopefully you’re able to get them to work properly.

I see some people link pics that are already larger in scale, but you can’t click on them at all. I’m not sure how to do that, but I could try that if someone could enlighten me on how that works.

This character was requested by my kids. He has no name yet, but for some reason Thonn keeps popping in my head. The kids wanted me to make an alien character. I wanted to construct a new type of weapon. Here is the result of that. Hope everyone enjoys.

Voltess looks pretty sweet. Are these characters from an RPG or a world of characters you have created on your own?
