Keep your head down and move quickly! Widow-maker is a deadly shot.

This one was finished about a week and a half ago, so I’m slowly catching up here.

@ Suleman – His armor pieces act more as light absorption. They also allow him to better control the energy he gives off (heat). It’s not so much they absorb the heat as it is assisting him in being able to ‘fluctuate’ it. That is my concept of him at least thus far, but it will be up to whoever is the GM for our supers RPG to flesh it all out.

@ Cliff – Thank you kindly for the compliments and critiques! The sun is actually masked to a shoulder guard. Perhaps I should have made the shoulder guard a bit tighter on the shoulder so it was more recognizable.

The wind effect in the background I just dropped in quickly and gave it some color. I’m not able to go back and tweak or change the background as this started off as more of a play-with-wings session and I never saved the text file for the character. I will always take your suggestions though, even if for later use (as in this case).

Now the clouds I can change. Once I get a few of my current projects wrapped up I will hopefully remember to revisit those clouds!

The main focus is going to be on the characters because I am making them for our groups RPG’s, but I have to admit that if I’m going to add a background I should at least try to do something with it. So thank you for keeping me in line, Cliff. It’s always good to have someone pointing you in the right direction.

Carnifex – I like the way you made his mask, it has a very ‘dangerous’ look to it. The rest of his outfit is well done also. Good colors on him.

Snow Blind – I would actually like some background on this character (if you have any). What powers does he have? Good overall design on him.

Blue Owl- Really nice looking character! Great colors on him and I like how you blended in certain items and made them look totally like they belong there.

Ok, I went back and found the original post of London Fog. The first pic (the one zoomed out) is my favorite one of those. That whole character/scene is pretty amazing. I can’t wait to see more of him and scenes from his past.

The name Tiberius is something that has just stuck with me from an early age, not sure why. I originally heard it from the Roman General Tiberius. If I remember my history correct, he was one of the few Roman Generals who didn’t want to become Emperor. And then (as you have hinted at) James Tiberius Kirk is one of my favorite TV/Movie characters, so that just makes it all the better.

Yes, I believe your suggestion to reduce the lightning effect in the background for Bolt was a good one. I just posted him on DeviantArt along with a few other characters, and made sure to mention your assistance with the lightning effect. It was much appreciated!

You said “then said this is going to take TOO LONG so …” Thank you sir for that. I had to laugh out loud for real because I have said exactly that on most of my characters.

@ Suleman – Thank you for the comments! Is that Sunfire that was in the new mutants (I think the group was called) years ago? I am really out of touch on about 80% of the Marvel characters now-a-days. That is a cool design, especially on the fingers.

My original idea of what few armor pieces Sunburst wears is that it was very absorbant of light, which is why it has little to no light reflection (hopefully I described that correctly). That’s actually true more so in the chest piece than the limb pieces. It also helps hold his power levels in check.

Here is a character for our ‘potential’ superhero game. He is made of solar energy which produces some fire as well. This was my first attempt to make fire. I have a ways to go to get better with it as I have seen some really good fire effects on here from other artists.

This character can be used for either good or evil in the game. Here is Sunburst.

ams, I think I’ve finally seen all your characters on here. I have to say when I saw some of you art for the first time about 2 weeks ago now, I was really inspired to step up what I was producing.

I’m very young with the HeroMachine and you are someone that has made a big impression on me, so thank you for that! What else can I say but fantastic job on all these characters.

    Both great looking characters, Cliff!

Amazing job on the floating embers around Inferno. The way you used the colors and lighting to make that effect is perfect! Which, BTW, reminds me to remind you to check in on Bolts update with the lightning effect reduced (as per your suggestion) in his background.

Is Cyrus McCloud a character you have made somewhere in your gallery, or is this a new one for the gallery (obviously you said he is an old character)? If he is new to the gallery, are we going to get to see him in ‘solid’ form?

@ Candruth – Thank you kindly! Working on Snow Angel was definitely more fun than usual. Everything seemed to just ‘flow’ when I was creating her.

@ JR – Thank you for the compliments, glad you liked the abs! I was hoping I wouldn’t come back a few weeks later and not like how they looked.

Nice character, JR! That reminds me of the four-armed Ogrillions we were facing in our Pathfinder campaign recently. Great coloring and shading on it and as Hawk said, everything was put together well. Love the overall design of the creature for sure.

And here is a winged character I actually intended to do. She is one of my favorites because I had her concept in my mind before I ever started her. Among obvious abilities like flight, she has very high resistance to cold, has darkvision and has control over the wind elements.

She is rarely out of her domain far in the Northlands and has a snow tiger (Lilly) who is her constant companion.

Lastly, I actually wanted some abs on this character so I went the route of constructing them myself with shading/highlights, so if they look odd that’s why.

    Here is Snow Angel!

Nice, Candruth! That novel sound like it is going to be really interesting. Synnove looks pretty sweet as well. One kick to the nuckers from her and it’s lights out!

I love the design. I really love the color choices. The shading just makes him come alive, very well done!

Out of curiosity, any backstory for this guy?

Yeah, that’s pretty sweet. A totally different view with awesome effects, very well done! It looks like you made the lighting a bit brighter in the last one, which I think made it look even better.
