I couldn’t think of any citrus-based powers, so I submit an alter-ego for the creators’ poster: The Archivist.

The Barleymaid is said to appear to young men during the harvest. Those she lures away from their work are never seen again.

This is Fangs, who has been stranded on an island for several years and lives off what he scavenges.

Something’s not quite right here, but I can’t figure out exactly what it is, or how to fix it. Ideas?

Blast from the past: 10-year-old HM2.5 creations. They were characters for a Nanowrimo story I, as usual, did not follow through with.

Blitz is awesome, nice movement pose, and I especially like the cutout zigzag. I would say, though, I’d think her left breast (from her POV) would be under her arm rather than over it. It’s not impossible to get one’s arms under one’s breasts like that, but it feels a little awkward and not especially comfy. Also, with her one shoulder up and the other down, the breasts might tilt a little to follow that slope as well. Otherwise, fantastic!

Thanks! I may add a couple of her fellow drummers and still be able to make use of her for this week’s team theme.

    Meanwhile:

Some people just break out in hives when they’re stressed. This young lady is not so lucky.

    Thanks, Stulte. 🙂

Didn’t finish in time to be considered for this week’s contest (indeed, not necessarily finished at all), but here’s a taiko drummer.

This is my redesign of Moon Girl, a princess of Samarkand and the latest in a long line of woman warriors. She has inherited a moonstone that boosts her already considerable skill. Having vowed to marry only a man who can best her in battle, she nonetheless travels to America to be near an unsuccessful suitor she particularly liked. There, she takes the alias Claire Lune and fights crime.

I chose new colors for her redesign to resemble the colors in moonstone and also, almost coincidentally, the flag of Uzbekistan, where Samarkand is located.

Uploading this headshot for the hair contest. I posted the full-body picture back in February.
