Pottermore’s open, finally, if anyone was interested.

This last one might be my favorite one yet. How did you do the freckling on the girl on the left?

Thanks! I used an object from Auras, (second page, second row, second object) and shrunk it to about 8%.

Two more students. I think there is mischief brewing.

Isn’t that from the Lewis Carroll poem, Jabberwocky? http://www.heromachine.com/wp-content/legacy/forum-smileys/sf-cool.gif

Yup. Her surname was going to be Mimsy-Borogoves, but then I remembered Nearly-Headless Nick’s actual name is Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington, and I didn’t want anyone to mistake them for relatives. Wink

One of the young witches from the group picture. Her name is Elspeth Bandersnatch, and she appears to be at a party, maybe at the Ministry. That’s her house elf, Minnie, wearing a curtain. Elspeth is especially fond of her, as she was practically raised by the elf while her parents were busy with other things.

NICE. You really nail shadows/highlights; I’m envious. 😉 That “triptych” background is clever as well. And, of course, nicely composed as always.

I love Python! That head and face and those arms are completely awesome. I’m nominating him for Hero of the Month.

Seconded! Took me a while to figure out how that head was managed.

Here are some other wizards who aren’t me. Also, a cat. What are they looking at, I wonder? The girl in the middle looks a little distressed.

Currently re-reading the Harry Potter series. I am wrapping up Goblet of Fire at the moment, and realized as I got a few chapters in that I had never read it in the first go-round! I’d started the audiobook but had to return it to the library before I even got to the beginning of the Triwizard Tournament. So really all I knew of it was the movie. A lot of things (like SPEW) make a lot more sense now …

You know what? I’d love to see the full image, not just the face. Could we? /wp-content/legacy/forum-smileys/sf-smile.gif

I made this one with the idea of using it as an avatar, so I didn’t actually make a full-body picture. But I suppose I could go back and work on doing so.

You’d fit right in with Harry Potter, almost could pass as his sister or daughter.

All I need is a lime-shaped scar on my forehead! 😉
