Dungeon after dungeon — endless monsters — tensions running high. These four adventurers used to be friends, but that all ended when someone shot the food.
“What do you suppose she’s brewing there?” I asked my husband.
“Kombucha,” he replied without hesitation.
I really like the new companions, especially the multitude of wizards!
I’m writing a story based on The Black Bull of Norroway. Sorry if I’m repeating myself with that, but I think the last time I mentioned it was on the previous message board. Anyway, here’s a picture from it:
So I was poking around at the other HeroMachine editions, and I noticed that some of the colors offered in the Pinup edition would make fantastic orcish skin tones, so, um, this happened:
is that his name, what he’s wearing, or what you should do if you meet him?
That’s your survival tip. If you try to run, he’ll let the troll loose. You can’t outrun a loping troll.
I think the girl’s really cute. I don’t think the guy came out as well as he did the first time I made him, but (*sob*) the vanishing file goblin got me at last.

She sailed away on a sunny summer day,
On the back of a crocodile.
“You see,” said she, “he’s as tame as he could be!

The croc winked his eye as the lady waved goodbye,
wearing a happy smile.
At the end of the ride, the lady was inside,
And the smile was on the crocodile.
In the locker room just before the swim meet is NOT a good time for an involuntary transformation …
Kelda is surprised to meet Ref, a strange young man from her village who disappeared months ago, so far from home. Is he a friend or a foe?
This is the model of troll I’m leaning toward at the moment. It’s inspired by trolls from both the movie Willow and the children’s cartoon David the Gnome. (The cartoon gnomes are much more comedic than mine, though.) At first I had it in a black/gray color scheme, but I felt like it lacked something. I think this coloring works better.
