You could turn some of these into great tarot-style cards. All you’d need would be the card outline and a caption.

Nice cowl. Already have some misuses in mind. Will it go to Tops or Backp/Std with the capes?

You’ve given it a good start. Do about seven times that (very translucent) and add puddles and runoff under the feet. Different hair and dripping rope would help, too. Don’t forget to put water on ALL of her.

Thank you, RobM. Rumbalest will be glad to play at your occasion, especially if you compliment his color scheme and tell him you love banjos.

Moving on! This week we have a fairly new item. I missed a chance at using this one as a shortcut in a recent picture.

I added color to the insignia to show the extra breadth of choice if you zero out a color or two. Be sure I’ll see it if you do.

@Stulte: Wow. http://www.heromachine.com/wp-content/legacy/forum-smileys/sf-smile.gif Thanx, Stulte. Occasionally my ‘portmanteau’ words baffle native Americans too, though. http://www.heromachine.com/wp-content/legacy/forum-smileys/sf-laugh.gif
You like the Bard? Iambic pentameter isn’t so natural for me as variable tetrameter. Like:

I literally have been a pro at prose.
An artist sees stars when he blows his nose.
He mimics them in blacks and whites,
And shows their color through words he writes.

I know most people will say that a handicap is when someone can’t do something as well. I happen to know that doing things well enough to inspire jealousy can be very unpleasant when one has the wrong ‘social handicap’ (too slow to read the signs of jealousy coming.) For example, imagine two men meeting in a public place too loud to speak and be heard. They begin to interact quietly and in a friendly manner. The instant one of them begins to speak, however, things go very, very wrong.

I titled this picture “Ch-” for the sound spoken.

I’ve noticed certain geographical tendencies. People from Germany and northern Europe seem to like my sense of humor the most out of people below fifty years old. People who are poor liked my paintings the most. Rich people tended to like my carvings and crafts more. Most of my writings appeal to a smattering of all ages depending on subject and focus and content. Not so predictable.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot to try to get employment–most jobs I’ve gotten had nothing to do with what I could DO, but how well the interviewer liked me. It’s a shame I don’t know any northern European college-age females opening third shift companies in my area. I might get rich quickly.

What’s the white thing at the front meant to be btw?

    Judging by the context I’d say it’s a weighing scale … http://www.heromachine.com/wp-content/legacy/forum-smileys/sf-wink.gif

Scale’s a good guess, but I’d have put a readout on it. That was a failed attempt at the sink in front of the mirror the shot was taken in. I guess I should have made a shade difference between the spigot and the drain. Live and learn.

Glad you enjoyed it Stulte–you from northern Europe?

Heh. Yeah. Amy Atom blasted the color cameras by accident. Liked her cameo in Artist Of War, btw. You write it or TheNate?

Dr. Henry Young was a logician, physicist, and professor of symbology. He wound up studying sorcery until he found that he could not only ‘shift’ blazes from trails to misguide hikers, he could make them CHASE the hikers, sometimes even hit them, cut them, etc. Currently believed at large in equatorial Africa.

Yvw, and about the hair? There are several small hair pieces you could play with. If you feel really ambitious you might talk to Linea about making the cat look like it’s playing with the frizz. She’s our feline expert. If I was after that effect, I’d flip the cat, ‘mask off’ a paw, and add a swiping paw from HandRight. There may be a better way. Good luck.

Yell My sense of humor isn’t always clear. When you get photograph samples to decide whether to buy them, they have ‘proof’ across them transparently.

I should ask–is that hair or the gas escaping the mask? If it’s gas, you might play with the alpha values. If it’s just odd hair, you might add some strands laying over the cat to be clear?
