It was tough coming up with a way to pull this one off, but I think it kinda worked.

The Choir is the fear of what others say, of what others think about you. It manifests either as a blur in the corner of your eye or as fading shadows on the wall.

    Continuing with the Fears…

The Cold Boy is a small male child who sings nursery rhymes. Yet, he could freeze your entire body in a few moments — and that is nothing compared to what he represents… the fear of the cold and of alienating yourself from others.

The Convocation is a hive-mind of feathered fears that represent the fear of heights and of being taken away.

The Dying Man is exactly that – the fear of dying, he unbalances his victims through possession. Jumping from one body to the next at the time of death, once he infects a person, they soon start to decay like a corpse.

I love the idea of The Fears, they sound like something the Doctor might face.

EAT is an eldritch abomination best described as a hive mind of water. The letters of its name are said to stand for Epping AquaTarkus, but rumours have surfaced of other names. One that has come up a lot is Evolutionary Adverse Trigger. EAT works by ‘eating’ a body of water (e.g. a lake, a human) and replacing the water with its own identical “ink.” A human filled with EAT will behave peculiarly and is said to be a part of the hive mind known as The Camper. Individual bodies of the Camper are, at times, referred to as EAT’s “arms”. It is the fear of water, drowning, and obsession.

Another one that was a bit of a challenge, but I think I pulled it off here.

A sentient city representing the fear of being lost, the Empty City likes to…play with its food. Anyone who opens one of its Doors and goes inside will wander the City, never finding a way out, until they die. It also serves as a neutral meeting place for the Fears and their minions.

The fear of judgment and punishment. Not much is known about The Eye, only that its victims tend to start seeing an eye watching them everywhere they go… and then mysteriously end up dead.

The Grotesque is the fear of dreams, of nightmares coming to life. It watches your dreams while you sleep and can enter your dream and take control. It can show you things you’ve done or it can cause you to go into a dream-induced stupor.

The fear of insects, of swarms and hives and being invaded inside. The Intrusion is a hive mind composed of many different arthropods.

The Intrusion uses these bodies to reproduce, and to this end it usually targets a human to use as a host for the process. The Intrusion’s bodies bore through the skin and crawl into every orifice on the victim, where it then lays its eggs. This normally causes the victim to become sick and sometimes delusional. After a few days, the eggs hatch, and the new bodies of the Intrusion then eat the victim from inside.

Just saying screw it to the alphabetical order now, just gunna start making these in whichever order I feel like doing.

The fear of disease and contagion – The Plague Doctor wears a beak-nosed mask (if it even is a mask) and long coat. Sometimes, his presence will manifest as a mental disorder or hypochondria.

Little is known about these living shadows, the fear of the things in the dark. They may or may not have been previous victims of the Empty City — if they are, they aren’t telling. The Nightlanders are creatures of order. They will reorganize objects, furniture, and people. They can reorder a persons mind to their liking or rigidly order a person’s body (to the point of snapping their neck).

They manifest in a number of different ways. Sometimes only the voices that whisper at the back of your mind, but other manifestations include shadows that speak and move separately from your own, possessing and manipulating your shadow to move independently, humanoid forms with dark skin and burning eyes, or even as moving pictures within a bloodstained book of Grimm tales.

Brief detour from the Fears here, created a new Darkstreet character.

So, here we have “Hellion”, a somewhat high ranking member of a street gang known in Calle Oscura as “Brimstone”. On the outside the group seems like any other gang of thugs, but underneath they are a twisted cult of demon worshippers, often performing odd rituals and sacrifices along with typical gang activities. Though Hellion isn’t very well respected within the Brimstone gang due to his scrawny physique and general scummy personality, the group’s leader keeps him among his elites due to Hellion’s unique Evo mutation. Along with the small but noticeable changes to his facial structure, he has the ability to see the eventual death of a person by staring into their eyes, and with one touch can broadcast those visions into that person’s mind. Some people believe his position within the gang is a result of using his ability to blackmail Brimstone’s leader with the knowledge of how and when he will eventually die.

And the leader of Brimstone is a man known simply as “Lucifer”. Members of the Brimstone gang/cult believe he genuinely is the devil himself, however he is nothing more than another crime lord mutated by the Evo drug. Given powerful pyrokinetic abilities by his mutations, he uses his powers combined with a demonic looking mask to fuel the beliefs of his underlings. However over time he has started to believe the charade himself. Much like the devil he tries to emulate, he is known to be somewhat of a trickster as well as a manipulative snake, always twisting the deals he makes in his favor. Contrasting to the rather grungy, punk-ish appearance of the rest of the Brimstone gang, Lucifer is surprisingly refined and sophisticated with a taste for things like classical music, fine wines, sharp suits, and priceless art-work. For obvious reasons, he has a very violent rivalry with the serial killer known as Father.
