I love Swift’s new look. Looks like a painting.
If I didn’t study that pic well, I would think it was a painting.

Linea24Participant@Lightningsword: Thank you
I actually don’t do well with paints. I press down a little on the brush, and I end up with a huge glob of paint on the paper.
@Trekkie: Thanks! I had to look at a picture of a wetsuit to get the shading right on Swift’s costume.August 25, 2013 at 12:14 pm #30323
DiCicatrizParticipantSwift’s redesign is astonishing! I’m assuming you used a solid color background or insignia to cover up the joints, but regardless of how you did it, the seamless contours really make the outfit special
The semi-transparent skirt is a nice touch too. Nice work

Herr DParticipantIt looks like I misread something a couple of pages ago: fire on hm is best done by varying between reds, yellows, oranges, using all three in varying translucency, changing x vs y, and a LOT of pieces while hiding the similar-looking edges however you can. The same hints with grays and browns work for smoke, which is great for hiding the fire shapes anyway. You’re coming along very well.

prswirveParticipantI think Linea is referring to the framed Swift? Well i used Photoshop to photomanipulate the frame and the textured canvass…
