Amazing scene! The pool is very original. Great masking technique with the fish’s head poking out of the water. Freckles as fish food? Genius. Kasha’s pose and dress are spot on. I look forward to reading her story.

When Kraka was a small girl, she was stricken with a terrible fever. Though she recovered from her illness, she was never quite right afterward. She spoke of traveling to other worlds, and of a creature she called “the man who was a fire.” She claimed to have discovered this being trapped in a cave under a steady drip of water falling from a stalactite. Kraka said that she rescued the man who was a fire from this predicament, and in return he promised to teach her magic.

And he did.
