Be sure to thank Me, Myself, and I for providing the final set of awesome Chinese Zodiac items in Insignia-Nature, along with a specifically requested “Rod of Asclepius”. Great job on these, MMI, thanks so much for your time and effort!

The cool thing about the zodiacs is that you can turn color2 completely invisible to get just the pictograph, or you can turn color1 and linecolor transparent to get the silhouette of just the animal for use as a tattoo or logo. Very clever.

Mark has recently sent me an update to the ItemRight-HeavyWeapons set. The numbering of the items has changed, so if you have a saved character using something from this set the odds are that when you load it, he or she won’t be holding what they used to be holding. Such is life with an alpha product, I’m afraid, though I do apologize for the inconvenience. The items are all still there, they just have different “names” now.

Some new additions to HeroMachine 3 just went live, including some both from me and from dblade. I also have a number of great items from Me Myself and I that I’ll be working on this afternoon.

The new stuff is:

That top row shows two different sets of antlers based off a submission by MMI, now available in Ears-Standard. Next is the lion head (which I’ve long been meaning to add), in Head-Animals, and finally a nifty pair of chaps by dbalde in Legwear-Male-Outerwear.

dblade also sent in a bunch of new eyebrows, available naturally in Eyebrows-Standard:

The indispensable and incredible Hammerknight has put together a truly inspired set of items you can import into HeroMachine to enhance your tabletop RPGs even more. I’ve posted them all over on the UGO forums, but wanted to be sure and add a post pointing to them here as well.

He’s got printable and loadable templates for d4, d6, d8, and d20; round and square flat character bases; and both A-frame and tri-fold character stands.

Here are a few samples by Hammerknight of the kinds of things you can do with these really nifty tools. Please drop him a line of thanks for all his hard work, and if you end up using any of these in your campaign I’d sure love to hear about it. Enjoy!

And finally, a set of super-long-lashed eyes (in Eyes-Standard) and a flesh-embedded spike (ShoulderRight-Standard — that seems like a weird place but that’s where the other single spikes are):
