I just watched JJ Abrams’ “Star Trek” for the second time, and here is my very informed and erudite opinion:
That was a good movie!
I’m all tingled up with geeky goodness now. A great job, in what has to go down as one of the greatest retcons in history. Well done, Mr. Abrams!
Feel free to use the comments to tell me how I’m an idiot.

I’ve just added a “BodyMonster” set to the HeroMachine 3 Alpha. These are actually just replacements for the legs, as you can see:

Holler if there’s something you had hoped for but don’t see. This does include the set of updated Monster bits from HM2, with the centaur(s), tree trunk, spider, faun, etc. I also included some requests from the Aliens thread with the ghost bottom, twister bottom, etc. I also cheated a bit and stole some elements from Insignia and Companions to make more half-human, half-animal hybrids possible beyond just centaurs.
Hope you like ’em.

No, I don’t know where her shoulders are. She’s an undead beast, maybe she just floats up to you to suck your blood.

I don’t want to reveal who they are, but the top five vote getters in the Banner contest are separated by a mere 9 votes. There are only 3 votes separating first place from second, and third through fifth place are only one vote apart. It’s close, folks! If you’ve already voted, go bug your friends to have their say as well.

I just updated the FootRightMaleStandard set of items in HM3 with some of the extremities in BodyMaleAlternate, as well as the much-requested furry feline legs. Plus I threw in the other complete legs from BodyMaleStandard just so everything’d be in one place. Here’s a quickie character made with the only all-new item in the set:

Holler if those aren’t right, it turns out doing cat legs is hard on a human scale.

Another how-I-did-it video that ended up with the following sketch:

And here’s the video. Note that I ended it before doing a number of things like changing up the glasses, adding a new set of goggles to the forehead, changing the nose, and adding black, which probably took about ten to twenty additional minutes. So from start to finish, this took about half an hour.
