For CDC #530: Papa Kongo was born to parents from different African tribes. Both his parents were minor practitioners of dark magic and they decided to sacrifice their 10 year old child to Voudon dark gods to gain more power. As they argued and fought over who was to receive the more power they slew each other and the child was given all the dark power instead. He spent years receiving instruction from Voudon evil spirits on black magic. He now acts as a representative for them on Earth. He used his powers to take over a portion of the Kongo calling himself Papa Kongo and instituting a cult of personality in his Kingdom using his dark magic to keep control.

Weapons: Artec-8 combat shotgun, PD14 sidearm, solid steel tonfa, bayonet knife, several fragmentation grenades
Equipment: In addition to standard image intensifier night vision, Hackett's visor also incorporates a thermal imaging mode.
Personality/notes: Aggressive and proactive in combat, favoring bold or high-risk tactics. Generally short-tempered and abrasive. Not one to bully the weak, but is incapable of ignoring a challenge and can't stand being shown up. Master of several martial arts and Anvil's highest rated hand-to-hand combatant

Eliza was a grade school teacher seeking tenure when her mutant powers manifested after an attempted mugging. She sent her would be attackers to the hospital after clawing them half to death. Scared, Eliza kept to herself and withdrew from society until she was tracked down by Coldsnap to join his Crusaders team. She eventually accepted her powers and became a true hero.
Panther Girl is a therianthropic and can transform into a panther hybrid. When in her hybrid form she has enhanced senses, claws, enhanced speed, agility, endurance and toughness. Her panther style coat allows her to blend in the dark and in shadows.
