The turn out for this weeks poll wasn’t exactly the highest we’ve ever had. In fact it’s the lowest since last July. However, despite this, one person did manage to accrue nearly 50% of the vote and get almost twice the number of votes as his nearest competition. And that person was Stulte for his Daidalos Yacht. Congrats Stulte and thanks to all of you who entered.

Oh look. It’s OCD #13 on Friday the 13th. Just an observation.
As for how this goes, you post a work of yours, finished or WIP (aka work in process, for those who are new to abbreviations), and then others give you critiques on your work. I do not mind if you post the occasional non-HM picture or piece of writing. Just make sure that you only post pictures that are your own design and not any that copyrighted or based off of copyrighted characters.
Also, again, if you post a work, it is highly recommended that you also give someone else a critique.

So, Valentine’s Day is this Saturday and, whether you have someone to share the day with or not, it’s always nice to celebrate love, so that’s what we’re going to do for this weeks contest. I want y’all to be as romantical as possible with your pictures this week, I won’t be any more restricting than that (other than obviously stay within the site rules, so nothing explicit please).
As per usual, no limits on entries this week and the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). Please read the contest rules before entering, have fun and good luck.
Rules for posts, contests, and challenges that I am hosting: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warnings. Only post pictures and images that you have either created for this contest specifically or you know for certain have never been entered to a contest before. If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because I’m not going to go back through all of the contests and check.

We finally had a close contest this week, for the first time this year. The top two were within a couple of votes all week (at one point it looked like it could end in a draw). However, our winner eventually managed to sneak ahead and take the win comfortably. And that winner is Linea24 for her A Faeries First Steps into the Sky piece. Congrats Linea and well done to everyone who entered.

Yep, another Candruth one. But this time I’m not actually going to talk about it, and not because I’ve talked at length about Candruth’s shading ability multiple times now.
