Well…

Well the last Sharing day themed Kaldath’s corner did well enough that I decided to do it again. This time we are going to share or favorite animation weather that animation be Japanese Anime, Western style cartoons or something else. I will list my top five Animation after the jump and invite you all to do the same. Anyone who shares their favorite animation with the community is entitled too ask me one question of their choice on any topic and I will endeavor to answer truthfully.

*sigh*
I thought we had quite a good run of featuring different people each week for COTW. Unfortunately, Candruth has decided to show up again, so it means back to business as it was earlier this year, because it’s so hard not to pick her work when doing these posts. Her shading and use of colour are almost unequalled. This week had no shortage of excellent pictures from members of the community, but this one just stood out.

Sorry guys, if it seems like I’ve just dropped off the face of the earth for a while there. I’ve been dealing with some fairly large personal demons of my own.
But anyways, I hope you (if you celebrate it) had a good Thanksgiving! Personally, I had a good one.
How this goes: You post a work of yours, finished or WIP, and then others give you critiques on your work. I do not mind if you post non-HM pictures or piece of writing. Just make sure that you only post pictures that are your own design and not any that are copyrighted or based off of copyrighted characters.
Also, if you post a work, it is highly recommended that you also give someone else a critique.
Even this is called Open Critique Day, I allow (even welcome!) for you guys to post and discuss on this for the weekend until 11:59 pm Sunday.

Hi guys, JR here. Yes, I know this is usually Kaldath’s post. But bear with me. I have temporarily taken over the Anime Talk this week, because it fits better than doing a JReviews.
And with that out of the way, let me just lay a few things out for you. Hello, my name is JR, you guys should all know me, and I am a MASSIVE (read MASSIVE) Digimon fan. Seriously, you think I’m bad with Doctor Who, you ain’t seen nothing yet.
With that out of the way, let’s begin.

I was kinda stuck on what to do for this weeks CDC. But then I came across this word as dictionary.com’s word of the day:
Gratulation: a feeling or the expression of joy.
And let’s be honest, that’s a fantastic thing to base a CDC around. So, your entries this week must express joy in some form. How is up to you.
As per usual, no limits on the number of entries and the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). Please read the contest rules before entering, have fun and good luck.
Rules for posts, contests, and challenges that I am hosting: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warnings. Only post characters that you have either created for this contest specifically or you know for certain have never been entered to a contest before. If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because I’m not going to go back through all of the contests and check.
If you don’t know how to enter, there’s a handy little diagram below the jump.

On November 21st, 1783 the first successful flight was made in a hot air balloon.
Your challenge this week is to create a hot air balloon design with a twist; the twist is that the design must evoke a specific historical period or design style of your choice. ie: Egyptian, Baroque, Steampunk, Art Deco etc.
There is no prize. There is no poll. The winner is chosen by me.
You only get one entry so be creative, and above all else, have fun!
All entries must be in JPG or PNG form (BMPs are too big), posted to a publicly accessible website (like the HeroMachine forums,ImageShack, PhotoBucket, or whatever);
This contest will close at 6pm Eastern on Sunday, November 22nd.
