Hey Madjack, would you mind posting the code for your Alien ‘croa’? I’ve been working on something similar, and like the way you did the features of the face, but haven’t been able to duplicate it.

Thanks all, I appreciate the feed back. I’ve been playing a lot of years, and have played most of the games mentioned. And 20 years ago, I probably would have sat down and built my own game from other games. But not today. Besides, If I build it, I’ll have to run it, and I wanna play

I tend towards the magic users.  I like their multifunctionality and mystery – which I play pretty well according to the lamentations of my old gaming pals. 🙂

Thieves and Rangers after that.  I liker a character that can do more than just swing a sword.

Urban fantasy might better be described as 'contemporary fantasy' -  fantasy stories that take place in the modern world.  As mentioned My favorite by far is the Dresden Series by Jim Butcher.  Storm Front is the first in the series.  Up to 12 so far, and he plans on around 20.

I tend to go with 'Super Genius'.  It would allow me to build all kinds of crazy gadgets, and turn a profit from it as well.

Looking back, the majority of my characters have been Human.  Dunno why, I guess becuase most rule systems give you some sort of bonus you can apply anywhere as opposed to a bonus tied to a specific racial trait – and I like more options when character building..  After that I'd say Elves, and I don't know why. *shrug*  Guess I just like the pointy eared bastards 🙂

Yeah, I'd have liked to have seen more movies too, but Eragon just didn't have the numbers the studio was looking for.  I was hoping one of the other studios would have picked it up, but no such luck.

I'm having a hard time getting an Avatar picture to upload.  Keeps giving me an error with no explanation.  Matched the size requirements, changed to a couple different formats, nothing worked so far.

 

Any suggestions?  Hoping I just overlooked something and having a senior moment. 🙂

I set it up and played through it for an hour or so when it went http://FtP.  But didn't really get into it; I've tried a couple other MMOs but just don't have the time to dedicate to it.

 

Right now, I'm working on an addiction to Skyrim.  It's the first of the Elder Scrolls game series I've played, but darn if this isn't the sort of thing me and my pals dreamed about back in the 80s when playing D&D.

 

Umm… did I say 80s??

As a side note, the number of MMOs that have gone Free to Play is pretty impressive;  City of Heroes, Champions, DC, Star Trek, Everquest, Lord of the Rings all off the top of my head.

The Inheritance series starts off with Eragon, correct?  With four books?  I've seen the movie and a couple of my kids have read the books and like them.  I liked the movie, but was concerned that the books were more written towards a teen audience, and I have a hard time reading those types of books.  Is that the case?

 

Finished Aloha from Hell – great ending.   Now I'm on to a random book I found at the library; The Wolf Age.  Okay so far.  Nothing spectacular at one hundred pages, but it is interesting.
