Thats good work and your getting better.

    Some tips
Try to avoid using to much black or dark colours as they tend to drown out details.

Avoid over crowding any one area, if you add all the detail to a small area then it tends to drown it’s self out.

Masking is your friend, read up on it here,
    http://www.heromachine.com/2014/01/08/how-to-use-the-mask-feature-in-heromachine3/

The best thing to do is to mask the parts you want to simple shape.

I.E. if you only wanted Sister Regina to have 2 straps on her boots.
You’d place the straps down and set them up, then put a box over them and mask to that.
After adjusting it all set the box to 100% transparency and send it to the bottom layer.

And now The Blood Phoenix story has a villain or two.

It had gone bad from the start, with anything that could go wrong going wrong.
First Katherine missed her fight, then her contact at the airport was ill and before she know it she was deep in trouble.

“Interpol has jurisdiction for now, so it would be best if you cooperate…”
Another lie, that id was fake and your not from Interpol.

He leaned in closer, poking her to punctuate his threats.
“Or am i to had you over to Agent Suchīrurōzu?
They call her the Steel Rose, apparently she can be quite the artist with that blade of hers..
You just think of that while i go over your luggage for drugs…”

With an unblinking stare the masked woman guided her at sword point into a side room and then locked the door leaving her alone.

Juanita fought back the urge to smile as she slide the thin carbide saw out from it hideing place…

Tank you for the comments, getting comments is really sportive  as it shows that some ones it reading your work,  so thank you.

The best way to get food at writing is to well write, don’t  worry that you can’t spell or dont have a great idea,

It’s a myth that story’s just come fully formed in your head, and it’d the same as the idea of thunder clap of true love and that your born to be a great X.

No you need to practice, live with the woman or man, do the job, then you can see what you can change and what you can live with.

Now i really should get on and write that third update…

A smile crossed Genovefa lips as she sited the lone guard
Genovefa sighted the lone guard and smiled in anticipation.
As she walked closer she eased her blade from it’s scabbard.
She let him draw his blade in the second before she struck, it opened up his arm to attack.

In a flash her blade carved a bloody arc, hewing flesh and bone a she severed his sword arm and leg.

A thick stream of smoke and sparks arose from there wagon.

As i approached the wagons door, one of the Leagues men was waiting for me.
There white fur cloak was in stark contrast to the blued steel of her amour,  beckoned me closer.

    Her

“So you are the praecursator from Argos?”

It wasn’t the i was being spoken too that shocked me nor that they where aware of who i was, no it was the heavy korinthian accent and the clear femininity.

Taken a back i stuttered out my reply

“Yes, i am Valius Marinus, praecursator of the legion.

” It’s a pleasures to meet you Valius, i’m Veiakere.
Now you what to find out more about our league, so i will make a deal with you.You must never reveal any of our secrets of the forge.
I’d give you  the on pain of speech but it’s i dont want to be out here in the cold all night, so tell any one and you will be killed.
Secondly i know that argoulets don’t really go in for rituals like northerners,  but to keep from offending anyone  do not refer to the nybegynner as there past name or speak to therm directly.

Now that’s the basics covered lets see how there getting on inside?”
With a gauntleted hand she pushed open the door.

The inside of the wagon was small and cramped, with a large forge sat filling the room with a orange glow.

Gunnhildr was sat on a mound of bedding furs, wolfing down the contains of a wooden bowl.

I was barely inside when i had my own bowl of stew thrust at me, i was clearly there guest for the duration.
    ————
Time passed to the din of hammer, as the forge was worked night and day.
From the unceasing labours came a all most never ending stream of armour for
Gunnhildr to cloth her self in.

It was most unlike normal armour, it was closer fitting and more complex, with multiple plates enveloping her entire body in a case of steel.

On the fifth day, the leader of band a tall man by the name of Uric announced that it was time to finish the armouring.

I was unsure just what he meant, by this point there was not one inch of Gunnhildr that wasn’t covered by the armour…

Genovefa smiled, her plan had worked, now all she had to do was ready her self for the escape.

The armory was cold and dark with only a single torch for light.

As they rounded a conner Genovefa layed her eyes on the most exquisite panoply see had ever seen, a shineing breast plate of bronze,  and the helmet had wings of sliver.

She dressed quickly in the torchlight, as the dusk and the finale step  approached.

From her on there plan was much less detailed, with blood and iron they would battle there way to the outside of the walls and split up.

I must admit that cliff’s entry  is much more ingenious in using the parts.
