Wow love all your work the design, colours and poses are amazing but my favourite has to be Start Solider Amelia 😛July 28, 2018 at 4:39 pm #151833
@Yin: Thanks! She’s a favorite of mine too. I might get around to trying out more futuristic designs eventually. 🙂
Now a break from our normal programming. Femininity came knocking and asked for some dresses and I decided sure. So there will likely be a short series of ballroom dresses. I’ll be reusing the same background and model for the dresses to keep it simple. These will be added separately bellow if anyone wants to use them.
First dress here is a dark purple ballgown with a black lace top and a sheer billowy skirt.July 29, 2018 at 10:13 am #151855
A long cream colored dress with black lacework and a black mermaid skirt.July 31, 2018 at 3:23 am #151877
Love both of the dresses so far on this page! both so good but so different!August 1, 2018 at 7:34 pm #151883
@Keric: Thanks! I really enjoy looking at your designs! You come up with some very unique ideas.
A smooth and form-fitting black dress with a reddish-purple sheer skirt that varies in length. Part of a Ballroom design series.
Only thing that annoyed me making this one was the line colors. If I made the body lines black then they wouldn’t show on the dress like they do above (due to masking). However I felt black lines on the skin were worse so I went this route.August 1, 2018 at 9:02 pm #151885
A loose and flowy red slip-on dress with two high leg slits.
Originally I was thinking of adding more detail bits, but when I got to here I fell in love with it’s simplicity.August 9, 2018 at 6:10 pm #151996
A long silver dress with glittery designs down it. Most likely the last dress for a while.August 9, 2018 at 6:45 pm #151999
Wow! That dress looks pretty spectacular – the sparkly design looks incredible.August 10, 2018 at 9:48 am #152030
Such fashion! I like your dress concepts a lot. I can totally imagine someone walking into a part in one of those and all eyes turning to them. 🙂August 12, 2018 at 10:09 pm #152049
Attached below are my entries for CDC #375. The name for the villain team is the Epoch Consortium. The hero team’s name is Spectrum. I wanted the designs to be similar, yet opposites off each other.
For the Consortium, I based it off of Dr. Epoch’s color scheme. I figured since he is an egomaniac he would want most of the infamy. On the other hand the hero logo has a color representing each member of their team. Both logos feature the world and hands. On the villain logo it looks like the hand is going to crush the world. Whereas the on the hero logo the hands are propping up the world.August 21, 2018 at 9:45 pm #152257
Above is my one of my Pathfinder characters, the female noble drow slayer, Azazel Rilynar. She has a pretty hefty backstory that I’ll post below.
Azazel was born onto the noble drow family of House Rilynar (drow for House of Poison). Her family line was aptly named for not only the amazingly lethal secret poisons that they mixed but for being revered assassins. The mere mention of the family name or any members were often only spoken in hushed whispers. Azazel’s mother, Talae, was the head of the family. Her other immediate relatives included her father, Felyndrol, her two older sisters, Shriolin and Intana, and lastly her younger brother Nal’tyrr.
While the Rilynars were the most respected and well known assassins in their section of the Underdark, there where two other families that specialized in assassination. One was House Du’arden (Walkers of Darkness) who mainly dealt in thievery as well as death. The Rilynars often worked along with Do’urdens to sabotage and kill the rivals of the upper ruling class. From its members Azazel learned apt sleight of hand and disable skills. The second was the rival House Zaumor (Children of the Abyss) of who the Rilynars regarded as enemies due to stolen assassination contracts and attempted public slander. Though the two houses hated each other, both houses were too numerous and powerful for the other to devote the time resources to wiping them out on their own.
One “night” Azazel awoke to the sounds struggle, blades, and yells throughout her families estate. Grabbing her blades she left her room and slid into the shadows of the hall. Around the corner she came across two family guards losing a fight against four shrouded figures. She could just make out the insignias of House Zaumor and of another unknown clan. Outnumbered, Azazel fled in the other direction. She entered the main balcony area and looked down onto the fray. There she saw house guards and relatives alike fighting a mass of cloaked figures leaping from the darkness. She could see that they were being overwhelmed from the surprise attack. Her sister, Shriolin, was laying in a pool of blood. From the corner of her eye she spotted two shadows move behind her. She spun about and threw a dagger into the gut of one of the intruders. The other came at her with a blade that she blocked with her own. They went back and forth and Azazel just managed to disarm and finish off her attacker. The scuffle had brought unwanted attention to her position and once again she fled into the maze of halls that made up her home. She managed to loose her pursuers and climbed out the nearest window she could. As she fled the estate she looked back only once to see it go up in flames.
The next few months Azazel travelled to another drow city and took on a new persona. She attempted to find any rumor of Rilynar survivors but was unable to find any good information. The fire had burned the bodies too well to know who had died and who had made it out alive. Despite her disguise skills, coming from a noble family had left her too recognizable. More assassination attempts followed and Azazel knew she would have to leave the Underdark completely if she wanted to retain her head. She called upon some help from the Du’ardens (who weren’t regarded as a threat in the eyes of House Zaumor) to aid her in travelling the dangerous, twisting paths until she arrived on the surface. There she disguised herself as a normal elf and never stayed in one town for too long. A couple years passed with no more assassination attempts. She even started using her first name again to have some token of home. As time passed she grew more fond of the surface. While she missed her nice possessions and the respect of being a noble, she didn’t miss the constant danger that was living among other drow in the Underdark. Her aspirations changed from avenging her family to making her own legacy on the surface. From then on started scouting for adventuring parties, hoping to strike it rich enough to buy her own land and start a new family of wealth and prestige.November 30, 2018 at 9:43 pm #153409
I started off creating an angel with a rainbow theme and ended up making something more akin to a Valkyrie. Thus the name. Definitely ended up being one of my more ambitious machinings.December 1, 2018 at 2:02 am #153416
Love how you’ve done the wingsDecember 1, 2018 at 5:12 am #153420
Valkyrie and your Drow are both crazy good. You constantly make really good use of colour.
The design on that last silver dress is fantastic, too.January 19, 2019 at 2:02 pm #153973
Thanks for the complements guys!
Been watching a DMC playthrough and felt like creating a demon hunter of sorts. Also re-imagined Ebony and Ivory as a composite sword with half being alchemical silver and the other half being cold iron. Don’t have a character name or anything. Mainly just wanted to make the outfit. So I slapped my face on her as I tend to do with ambiguous creations.
