Ok, let's do a theme we haven't done in a while. For anyone who hasn't done a TGT challenge before, basically the idea is to take bits from two genres and mash them together to create a character. For example you could mash Sci-Fi and Western up to make a cyborg cowboy. In previous TGT contests I've given you guys a specific genre that you have to mash with others, but this time I'm gonna let you guys have free reign. You can mash up any of the following genres: Superhero, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Martial Arts, Western, Anime, Noir, Steampunk and Horror.

Oh and you can have the poll back now. I don't much feel like having to decide the winner on my own again.

As per usual, no limits on entries and the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). Please read the contest rules before entering, have fun and good luck.

Eeyup. Today marks the 100th CDC that has occurred under my supervision since I was made a moderator and blog author for the site over 2 years ago. Hopefully you've all enjoyed the madness that ensued, it's certainly been fun for me. And considering it's a milestone, I'm gonna celebrate.

So, the idea is; just impress me. Simple as that. Show me something awesome you've created in Heromachine, as long as it isn't something that has previously entered into a contest. But of course there is a catch. Y'all only have one shot at this. Yup, one entry only (sits back and watches Cliff implode and explode simultaneously). So make it a good one.

Oh and you know that poll thingy-majig that you all seem to like so much. That's getting kicked for this week. When I said you've got to impress me, I meant me and me alone. The only way you guys are influencing who wins this week is by entering, I'm deciding who takes the no-prize. *evil smirk* Don't worry, I don't play favourites… often.

So guys, for this weeks contest, I wish for you to turn your attention to a section of Heromachine 3 that falls under the Heads category. It is titled simply "Winners" and contains the faces of some of the great and good of the Heromachine community of the past and present, including our great and powerful overlord Mr Hebert. So your challenge this week is simple. Go create me an awesome picture using one (or more) of those faces. That is the only requirement (apart from the usual rules about copyright characters etc.), the pic can be anything you want, within reason, so long as it contains one of those faces. So make them cool, make them funny, make them scary, but make sure to make them awesome.

Alright guys, this week it's back to the more standard "Character" contest format. For this weeks challenge I want you to create a superhero. It's that simple.

*grins*

Ok, it's not thaaaat simple. To make it more interesting, you also have to show the character's alter-ego, their secret identity, the Clark Kent to their Superman etc. and the two have to be incorporated into the same picture. Now there are many different ways you can do this, so I'll leave it up to you as to how, I just care that they are both in the same picture.
