For the next few weeks we will be building a team of RPG characters based on the following classes: Warrior/Fighter, Knight/Paladin, Barbarian/Berserker, Monk/Martial Artist, Archer/Ranger, Thief/Rogue/Assassin, Priest/Healer, Mage/Wizard, and finally Summoner/Necromancer/Druid.
Your CDC challenge this week is to create an original Barbarian or Berserker.
The winning entrant will receive a HM3 version of their character rendered by yours truly.
The characters must be your own design and not based on any character that might be copyrighted in any way.
Rules for posts, contests, and challenges:
Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters.No characters based on Official RPG NPC's ( Non-Player Characters ). Please keep all submissions PG13. I have the right to delete any post that I believe crosses this line without warning. Only post characters that have been created solely using Hero Machine, and that you know for certain have never been entered in a contest before. If you aren’t certain, don’t enter it, because I’m not going to go back through all of the contests and check.
All entries must be in JPG or PNG form (BMPs are too big), posted to a publicly accessible website (like the HeroMachine :,ImageShack, PhotoBucket, or whatever);
Please make the link go directly to the image (like this) and not to a hosting jump page (like this).
This contest will close on Monday, June 1st at 6:00pm Eastern

Hi all! I hope you'll forgive my interruption of your super-hero-making for a moment, but I wanted to share a project my two best friends and I have been working on during These Trying Times. We've put together a podcast called "Nerdmudgeon", where the three of us discuss various geeky subjects from our perspective as three middle-aged nerds who get grumpy when they move too fast.
We're reviewing all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films in chronological order to see if our opinions about them have changed over the years since we first saw them.
Each episode is just a half hour or less in length and we try to come at them with a positive, genial discussion with hopefully a few laughs thrown in as we poke fun at each other.
