Last night when I was writing my post for today I was exhausted and got confused causing me to accidentally end the caption contest two days early instead of posting the Character redesign challenge winner. I was going to correct that and take down my post however the website had issues with it being down all day. SO I most apologize to you all for ending the caption contest earlier then I stated. I have been giving some though of switching the two around any, so from this point going forward the caption contest will be on Tuesdays, and the Character Re-design ( or poll position if I go back to them ) will be on Wednesdays. Once again I am sorry for today’s mix up!

I most say even though it was a very short clip, I think they went with an interesting take on Wonder Woman, though I am not sure I like the costume design they went with here.

This week I want you guys to create an energy blaster type character. I want to see your characters using their powers, but apart from that you can go wild. Hero/ villain, Modern or Golden Age, doesn’t matter.
As per usual, no limits on entries this week, the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). The winner gets to claim a custom made item from dblade to be put into heromachine, so long as the item conforms to his prize rules, which you can find here: https://www.heromachine.com/forum/the-heromachine-art-gallery/dblades-whiz-bang-item-dispenser/. Coff coff. Did’nt you hear my screaming? I was trapped in a humongous cobweb on my way to the basement. It took me days to get out of it while hiding from that monster spider.
But hey – guess what I found, when I finally got downstairs? An old tattoo parlor! What, you don’t believe me? Well, I brought prove. Therefore you’ll find 3 new sets with a total of 360 (!) tattoo motives in the insignia category: Insignia/TattoosAnimal, Insignia/TattoosMisc, and Insignia/TattoosTribals.
If you don’t know what to do with them, maybe take a look in this forum thread, where I posted a few characters that I’ve done with photoshop some time ago. Of course you will find all the materials I used there in the new sets. So, there you go – have at it… 😉
Phew, now I’m exhausted. Wait … didn’t somebody say something about a garage sale?! Hmmm….
