HM3: One day, lad, all this will be yours

No, not the curtains! These vast tracts of land, available now in Background-Landscapes (a completely new set). The idea behind these is that you can use the "multiples" setting to piece together your own scenes. So for instance, there are some standalone trees, some middle ground plains, plenty of far-off mountains, some piles of rocks, etc. This is another experiment along the lines of the Rooms and Furniture sets, so let me know how they're working.

If you have other landscape elements you want to see included, let me know.

Oh thank you thank you! 😀

Monty Python quotes? I approve. In fact, it makes me want… to sing!

Thanks Jeff! I’d been hoping for some more landscape items for ages. For other items, how about a river or cave or something along those lines? Or river coming out of a cave!

  3. Hammerknight says:

Can’t wait to try them out. Thanks Jeff.

  4. Solander says:

    Nice addition Jeff, love them!

    Some suggestions:

    A waterfall maybe?

    A flower field?

    Large oak tree: http://arboristaustin.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/rrre.jpg

Oh, and as previously mentioned, a river would be nice as well.

Perhaps some elements for a desert landscape? Like cactus, etc..

And why not include some underwater items? Like coral reefs, sea weed etc?

    Perfect. Thanks

Don’t be angry with me, but you being laid off was the best what could happen to us Machiners! 😉

Lovin’ all these new additions. Any “Female Alternate” bodies in the cards?

    Thanks and Cheers!

  8. Donna F says:

Oooh, these are great. Love ’em!

What about a quarry in honor of Doctor Who’s recent half-century? (DoctorWhoLocations.net has good photos of many of them, like Tank Quarry, West of England Quarry, and Hanson’s Aggregates.)
On the U.S. side, how about the famous Vasquez Rocks?

May I second ams’s request for more Female Alternate bodies?

Many thanks for your amazing work!

    To me, too!

  11. Jeff Hebert says:

OK, I’ve got the mesa and the cacti ready to go, along with a cave mouth. I’m having some trouble finding suitable river pictures but I’ll keep looking.

  12. Calvary_Red says:

Backgrounds are about to get much more epic. Thanks, Jeff.

  13. Jeff Hebert says:

If anyone makes something you think is really cool with these backgrounds in the next day or two, do you mind posting a link here? I’d like to see how more creative people than me use them. Thanks!

What about a couple different tombstones, a dead tree, maybe a swamp.
