Character Contest #H04 “Exoskeleton”

Exoskeletons, be it in the comics or real life, are very cool. So for this week's contest suit up and do your best to design a exoskeleton. It can be for a comic character, or for real life. No, I'm not talking "Iron Man" type in a complete suit of armor. I'm talking an external skeleton type of suit. No limit this week. Have fun.

Just to be clear this needs to be more like a system of pneumatically powered braces, than a full powersuit, right? All the attack power, but none of the bullet-proof plating.

Also what about natural exoskeletons, like an insectoid character might have?

Sounds good to me. Something you might see someone wearing in real life. And the natural one would be cool too.

Here’s my first entry. If i have time i might try to make some
kind of alien with an external shell.

Finally got a minute to enter a contest! Yay!

Gold plated super conductors powered by friction slowly builds up kenetic energy that dances over the protective rubber suit which can be discharged by touch, or over a short distance. The electric charge can also be used to power electronic devices, though the operator must be careful not to overload the circut. The operator can also use the stored energy to create an electro magnetic field that can push or pull metal objects as well as lift and propel the operator at high velocities. Careful manipulation of this field can also disrupt radio frequencies.

@ Keith you used male briefs to cover his mouth and nose-LOL!

Great idea for the suit, and the design is BAD ASS!!

Keric- Thanks for noticing. SSSHHHH, don’t tell anyone, it will be our little secret.

Kellkin- Thank you. It really means a lot when artists with your skill like my work.

I hope this fits and isn’t too close to some other character I know. I started working on it and was almost through and then I saw the resemblence. See what you think?

I will say no its “not” him, I didnt mean for it to come out so simular. I am still happy with overall design and will try and catch myself if I go too close and make more differences I guess. Sorry Jeff and guys if I flubbed the copywrite on that one πŸ™ nuf said
