SOD.067 – Cap

Can't promise these'll be in color every day, but in response to the comments on the Superwoman redesign, here's at least one more. I do need to work on my coloring skills in Flash, particularly the need to figure out an easier way to consistently get the line colors right, so it's probably worth while for me to do at least some sketches that way.

    Nice job Mr. Hebert!

  2. Jeff Hebert says:

Why thankee sir! You were right about that Rottweiler illo, too, the waist was way too narrow. I like the overall look, though, at some point I may revisit it and do it properly.

Part of what’s nice about quick sketching like this is that it teaches you something in the doing, which is great.

  3. Connor S. says:

Nice job, but I think it kinda looks like he has feathers.

  4. Jeff Hebert says:

What, the scale mail? I always loved the way that looked in the Ultimates, and have no problem using it here. I likes it!

Unless you mean the feathers on his head which are, in fact, feathers.

  5. Joshua says:

Jeff, may I live the American Dream and ask that you do a sketch of Ultimate Captain America? I have my fingers crossed that Joe Johnston’s Captain America has some of that Ultimate’s gumption.

Jeff, I wanna see you do Batman, now…! You’ve done Marvel’s greatest human hero, now do DC’s! Please???? ^_^
