I think I've fixed the HM3 Alpha problem where using "Save as JPG/PNG" would squeeze your character into the upper left corner of the image if you used the left or right Hand. It now sets the image size to 400x600, which means wingtips and such will get cut off. But, it returns those features to basic usability, at least.
It also hopefully sets the stage for the "choose super big size" option down the road. In fact, I think I can by default set it to larger than 400x600 if you guys want, just let me know. This is all uncharted territory, I'm just hacking my way through it, but I'll give it a whirl.
On the larger size does that mean that it will lets us work in a bigger area as will without slowing things down or crashing?
No, that’s just in reference to using the actual SAVE AS JPG/PNG buttons, it’ll let you choose from a variety of pre-set sizes for the final output instead of the default 400×600.
O kay, something is going on with masking neck wear , I had a hard time earlier today with it and now Isia is having a hard time with it also.
Hey Jeff, one thing that bugs me is that you can’t enter negative rotation degrees. Is it possible to change this?
Eric, I’m unclear on why it’s better to go from -180 to 180 than from 0 to 360. Either way you’ve got full-circle rotation.
My problem is that if i want to get, say, -24 degrees on an item, the minus won’t enter.
Oh! Gotcha. I’ll add that to the minor bug list, it ought to be the same whether you use the dial or manually enter a number, you’re right. In the meantime you can do 360-24=336 as your number and it’s the same difference.

Nice work on the Save as JPG/PNG feature, Jeff. I’m in favor for changing the default size of the image, so long as the resolution isn’t diminished.
On a side note, I’ve notice some masking problems with the new save/load feature. For instance, I’ve masked the dragon insignia to a shirt. After saving and reloading a character, the insignia would either completely vanish or unmask itself.
Like the idea of a super big save option down the track.
While you’re talking on the subject of rotating things….
I came across this difficulty, it sort of a bug but really more about how I was handling certain objects. I got around it with some creative flipping etc.
If something is scaled 200% (eg a right arm) and you rotate it 180deg there is a limit to how far it can be moved horizontally to the right side of the picture. I think part of the reason this happens may be because the arm rotates on an axis central to the picture not central to the object (arm) it’s self and at 200% the object it reaching the edge of the picture area.
Umm, I’m not sure how to explain it any better than that… I don’t think it’s a very pressing issue anyway.
I for one would very much like to see the larger size image exports.

Heromachine is going wonky now….bare with me this is long an dcomplicated:
I loaded a character I made yesterday. He looked fine. I started changing somethings and after I changed 2 items and instead of goign to the third itmes catergory it relaoded the saved character. This happened several times.
After that when I would pick a catergory it would repalce items in that catergory with somethign fromanother catergory or make it disappear.

Great program, have enjoyed it very much since Version 1.0 that I purchased all those years ago. Version has some amazing features. Keep up the great work, thanks Reid.
AWESOME! Heromachine 3 looks outstanding so far but I went into Item Left and Right and neither had the music option that the other had with Guitars and Mics. I know you aren’t finished with 3 yet but are the Music Items going to be added later. I have a character in mind that whacks zombies with a red electric guitar. Also ItemRight has more options than ItemLeft, Why is that? Just curios.
