Wonder Woman Spoiler Free Review

Hey everyone! I’m here with a review for you for a movie that I was really excited but also really nervous for: Wonder Woman. We finally get to see the third member of the DC Trinity get their own live action film, although the 2009 animated movie is also excellent and you should definitely check it out as well. This is also the first female-fronted superhero movie since Elektra, which I only saw part of and found really boring, so this has been a long time coming. I’ve said before that this was my last chance for the DCEU, after the crushing disappointment of Batman vs Superman and the somewhat enjoyable but horribly disjointed mess that was Suicide Squad. If this wasn’t good then Justice League was off the table and I was done being disappointed again and again with characters I’d loved since childhood. But the early buzz was good and even though I avoided reviews of any kind, I was starting to feel a bit better going into this film, and well…

Get Out Spoiler Free Review

Hey everyone! I was supposed to have this review up over the weekend, but unfortunately the weekend turned out to be pretty rough (anxiety sucks). On the plus side, things have calmed down again. Anyways, we rented a movie the other day that’s gotten a lot of buzz and we wanted to see it for ourselves. That movie of course is Get Out, the directorial debut of Jordan Peele and his foray into the world of the horror film. As usual, there are no spoilers here. So, let’s get started!

Concert Review!

It's called The Last Tour because the album is called The Last Stand. There were some questions about the name when the tour was first announced.

Hey, everyone! You know how in my last post I said that we’d gone out of town last week for a couple of days and that I was going to write about it? Well, here it is (finally!), my first concert review! And not just any concert, this was our first time seeing family-favorite Sabaton! I’ve been to a number of concerts in my time, from small gigs in bars or at university to big ones outside or at large venues but I’ve never written a proper review for one, so bear with me as I try this out. So let’s see how it goes. Oh, and all the pictures I'm posting were taken by us that day.

Trailers of the Week

Hey everyone, coming at you with some new trailers and stuff this week! April’s been a bit thin on films we wanted to see, other than Colossal, which isn’t playing near us, but there were a few trailers this week that I wanted to talk about. Also, at the end I’m going to show off something I picked up yesterday that I’ve been meaning to get my hands on since its release. So, without further ado, let’s get to it.

Geostorm Trailer!

I just had to share this will all of you. After a number of teasers popped up Tuesday, we were told that a full trailer for what will probably be one of the most anticipated movies of 2017 would be debuting Wednesday. I speak of course, about Geostorm. Yes, that weather-disaster thriller brought to us by Dean Devlin and starring Gerard Butler (why do you keep doing this to me, man?). Also, Jerry Bruckheimer and another director, Danny Cannon is involved too. It’s kind of complicated. But on to the trailer.

Logan- Spoiler Free Review

Hey, everyone, back with another movie review for you! I know there were a few trailers and whatnot this week but I got to see Logan and I really want to talk about that instead. If you are interested in the trailers, I’d say the one to check out this week if you want something new is the one for the new Duck Tales show coming out this year. It looks like it could be a lot of fun. But that’s not why we’re here, is it? I want to talk about Wolverine, and I’m sure you guys to do. So let’s talk Wolverine.

John Wick Chapter 2- Spoiler Free Review

Hey everyone, sorry about the delay but I’m coming back at you with another movie review. This time we’re talking about John Wick Chapter 2, the follow-up to the explosive 2014 original. I had been interested in seeing the first one but hadn’t gotten around to it until I’d mentioned it one time and my mum, of all people, immediately lent us her copy so that we could watch it (it’s also on Netflix).  I loved the first one, so my expectations for the sequel were pretty high. So what did I think of Chapter 2?
