Name: Mr. Friday Night
Alignment: Evil
Powers: peak human agility; hypnosis; talks with a lisp; has a signature move called Ultra Glitter Storm (he basically just takes a can of glitter and tosses it on an opponents face. Don’t ask where he keeps it.)
Bio: Mr. Friday Night was once a wealthy club owner who got bitten by a radioactive DJ at a party, granting him extraordinary abilities. His main goal is to make the entire world “fabulous as eff” and kill anyone who dares oppose him.

Name: Reverse Centaur
Alignment: Good
Powers: His spit is 200 times stickier than industrial glue; peak superhuman strength; peak superhuman speed and agility
Bio: Reverse Centaur was once an ordinary businessman who dreamed of becoming a Centaur. Then one day, he encountered a Genie who would be willing to grant him that wish. However, the Genie was very intoxicated and accidentally granted the businessman’s wish backwards. Since the Genie could only grant one wish per person, the businessman was stuck in this form for all eternity. After weeks of battling depression, the businessman decided to take advantage of his abilities and become a crime-fighting hero who captures criminals by using his ultra-sticky spit as an adhesive. From that day forward, he was known as Reverse Centaur, defender of justice. And stuff.

Powers: Can shoot a massive laser beam from his head that’s powerful enough to destroy a small town; telekinesis; can talk to other pieces of jewelry; can cook a mean steak
Bio: Before his days of supervillainy, The Jewel used to be a normal piece of jewelry. Then one day, he fell into a barrel of toxic waste, thus giving him this new humanoid form and granting him tremendous power. After noticing how he and his fellow jewels were being heavily mistreated by the humans who took advantage of them, The Jewel decided to wage a war against mankind as an act of revenge for years of oppression.

Doctor Toxic, while a suitable villain, wasn’t doing for me as an arch nemesis for The Scarlet Mantle. So I started playing with the idea of The Man Without a Shadow or just The Shadow. I’m not going into too much detail here because I want to do a piece of short fiction to really introduce the character.

“Danni, I’m not really comfortable about doing this.”
“Come on babe, I did one, now it’s your turn.”
“Yeah, but yours wasn’t a full-body. And besides, you look great. I just got a new tattoo and it’s still all red and blotchy around there and my hair needs re-colouring soon, you can see my natural colour coming through and you’re going to get the glare off of my glasses and…”
“Really?! I’ve just had a baby, you think I don’t feel completely self-conscious about how I look. You look beautiful, just relax. It’s not like anyone else is going to see these.”
Lili has pretty bad body image anxiety. Not as bad as it was in her teens (she was borderline anorexic at one point), but she still worries a lot about how she looks and, more often, how other people think she looks. Fortunately she has worked out a coping mechanism when around other people, keep them distracted by talking. A lot. It also help that when she talks, she’s not thinking about what other people think about how she looks. Ironically, Lili is naturally thin, she doesn’t put on weight easily (much to Danni’s annoyance), plus she works out pretty regularly.
Trying to give Lili and Danni more different body shapes and trying to move away more from the standard HM body. I might do reference sheets for the girls at some point.
Note: Lili’s new tattoo on her chest says “Samantha” which is the name of her and Danni’s (technically Danni’s, she’s the mother) daughter, named after Danni’s Grandmother (and on Cliff’s suggestion). It’s her third tattoo, after her arm and one on her back.
Note 2: Yes, Lili does have a navel piercing.
