So, finishing off the series of pictures showing Samantha Marcell through various stages of her life, we now have Sam at adulthood. Certainly less stroppy than she was during her teens, she now works as an animator for a large media company, working on various cartoon shows (both kids shows and adult-orientated animation) as well as animations for music videos and advertising. Hey having a mum who’s a cartoonist does help with somethings right, like learning how to draw. Sam sort-of turned into a mini-Lili by the time she hit 25, even down to a love of tattoos. Danni wasn’t best pleased with her getting any tattoos at first and went along to her first few appointments, but Lili and Sam managed to put her mind at rest. Danni still mothers Sam like crazy, even though she isn’t a kid anymore. Sam also tends to wear glasses while she works and reads, she developed slight myopia quite early on, something which she inherited from her maternal Grandfather (Danni’s father).
Oh and of course, she’s inherited a certain piece of jewellery from her mothers. A bit sappy I’ll agree, but Lili wanted her to have it.

Simon Lott is a CIA operative stationed in Moscow. Lott’s underhanded tactics dubious morals have led him to cross paths with the Russian hero Vanguard on a number of occasions. Lott considers Vanguard an impediment to his plans and has, on numerous occasions, attempted to “eliminate” him from the equation.

Lott has also run afoul of the super spy John Doe. Doe sees Lott as an example of the corrupt, power hungry presence he has made it his mission to remove from the government. Lott sees Doe as a dangerous, left wing nutcase. While John Doe serves the people above all else, Simon Lott seems only loyal to whoever is giving him his orders…And himself.

[Can anyone guess which actor Simon is based on?]

Simon Lott

I am much more satisfied with this outcome.

I didn’t use the zombie piece, after all, but with a little bit more erasure, a different 2nd color (with 50% transparency on it), and near-total transparency on one layer of my “ear mask,” I was able to get rid of the claws completely.

I think this looks much more like the result of an attack by a wild animal when he was 5, don’t you?

Oh, my God!  That looks almost perfect!  I even used that exact insignia, I just rotated it so the claw slash went up-and-down vertically instead of at an angle.

But that zombie scar is the missing piece, I think, combined with the transparency settings you mentioned.  I didn’t think of trying that part.

Dangit, now I have more fiddling to do!  😀

Something I’ve had lying around for a while, so I decided to finish it.

I was at the local Pharmacy picking up my meds today. I looked at some of the High school football uniforms, that they had for decoration, and this came to my mind. I’ve shared this with facebook for my friends to see what I’ve done. I hope to get it enlarged and framed, so I can donate it to the High school. The symbol on the wall behind the character is the emblem on their football helmets and uniforms.
