Here's a Gif of the process to create the Warrior Fighter - Analisse:

and the final image:

I hope to make an entry for each part of the current theme so as an added incentive, I'm going to write a story to go with it:
The night closed in, which made the Lucky Dragonâs torches glow all the brighter. Outside, the sounds of cicadas and crickets filled the air, but inside conversations ranged from drunken nonsense to secret whisperings of ancient tales. One half-elf hunched in a dark corner staring at the bottom of her glass with her one good eye while a stranger watched her from the bar.
Before she realized it, the odd fellow stood over her with a grimy grin. âHey pretty, why donât you give me a smile to match that lovely face.â As he went to brush the hair from her face, a chain suddenly squeezed around his neck. His face slammed into the table and a sickleâs blade stuck into the side of his mouth. âYou first,â she rasped.
The bartender yelled over the noise, âIf youâre going to cause trouble, then get out!â The one-eyed fighter glared at the barkeep but decided it was better not to draw more unwanted attention. She threw a coin towards the bar and entered the quiet of the night, but another eye was watching her from the shadows. The eye entered to light of the tavern making her armor gleam. âGood journey, Analisse. I see youâve already made yourself unwelcome. Oh, and Iâve brought a message from your âbig sisterââ.
Anyway, back to normal stuff now.
Ataraxia

Able to influence the emotions and mental states of people around him and people he touches, he mainly uses his powers to induce a state of tranquility and contentment into people. However, this is not out of any altruistic motive. It is easier to control people if they feel like they are benefitting from what is happening to them and the happier people are the more they will do to keep hold of that feeling, even going to extremes.
Quick interlude for a contest entry (haven't done one in a long time), a fantasy reimagining of Melisa Meier as a fantasy warrior or knight (yeah, I know her hero name is Paladin, but she doesn't have any healing powers, so she'd just be a plain old warrior class, al-be-it a very fancy one with white armor).

CDC Prize for Scott Weyers

Here is the martial artist, Roosta.

Koto, the samurai cursed with immortality and to kill for eternity, when he cuts an enemy he can control their blood. As a hired assassin, he has walked the world for over a century covering the land with his eternal bloodlust, but things change once he meets Asumi.
Valravn
Powers: Superhuman Strength/ Speed/ Reflexes/ Endurance, Flight, Intangiblity, Razor Sharp Claws, Minor Mind Control (can influence people to do certain things and/ or make people see things that aren't there)
Nothing is known about the person known as Valravn. The creature that is their namesake is a terrible animal from Norse Mythology, a cross between a raven and a wolf, possessed by a soul seeking redemption but also causing horrific acts through their great malice. Whether or not Valravn is a soul seeking redemption is up for debate, but they keep in line with the legend by commiting some truely horrible acts of violence. Despite many encounters with the heroic community (most often Harpy and Harrier), Valravn has never been caught. One interesting thing to note is that they only appear at night and have been seen to literally disappear at dawn. As with much to do with this villain, the why and how of this remains unexplained.
Kenshira Charlotte - human totem barbarian
A portrait designed for a friend, while he was literally sitting on the couch next to me deciding what he liked (and getting a bit of a crash course on using HM). Fortunately his lack of pre-established specific ideas was balanced out by his receptiveness to my suggestions, and the whole process only took a couple of hours. I especially like how the hairstyle turned out, and we managed to come up with a pose that both looks cool and gets the entirety of her ginormous weapon in the frame.
Court clerk by day, vigilante by night, Kenshira manages to balance staying fashionable with doing what she can to right some of the wrongs that slip through her city's judicial system. Or at least she did, until she was swept away by a mysterious mist into a land of darkness where devils don't trifle with lurking in back alleys.
