Hi all…so, how have you all been? …I know it’s weird that I announced a comeback and then went silent again…but, okay…what had happened was my computer died. Completely, gone, lost everything. And being a poor man who is taking care of a displaced family, money for a new computer was not something that I had…BUT, here’s where the story takes a turn. The new girl in my life bought me a computer for my birthday!!! I’m back online…and have so many ideas and concepts I’ve been itching to do!!!

So here’s a breakdowh of how Agent Albatross was made.
Started out trying to make a completely different character, a charismatic pacifist who had lost her arms.

Stole her boots from this… vampire pirate guy, whatever his deal is.

Could not make the pose work as well as I hoped, so I started reworking the design into a sailor type. Rather than her arms, she had lost a leg.

The pose still wasn’t quite right and didn’t seem balanced. So I tweaked the angles and swapped her legs.

Once I got the pose like I wanted it, I started working on the colors and the background.

The stars needed some work. I added twinkling to cover up the biggest ones, which looked a little out of place. I also added several gradients to break the monotony and create a rather pretty view of space.

Started working on the shading, one item at a time. Breaking the process into smaller pieces like that helped my sanity.

Once the shading was done, I saved the image and immediately closed the window so I wouldn’t be tempted to make further tweaks or changes.

Well, I’ve been unable to do more than start a piece (70+ hr workweek this week and two sick squidlings), so, Keric, if no one enters, post whether you’re giving an extension or swapping items.

Your best solution is as always to “break the picture down”, and then try to recreate it yourself, but… this one looked like fun so I took a stab at it. I tried three solutions for the curls, (no masking but you can add it if you like.) I included text so that you can play with my solutions and find a better one (if you want to~!)

Hi Tanega
That’s an odd one. I’d suggest contacting the program creator using the Contact Us form, he might be able to shed some light on it a bit better than I can. It sounds like you might have a setting on your browser that deletes cookies when you close out of a website, but I’m not sure, so best talk with Jeff. In the mean time, you can save using the text code. All you do is, when you go to save you’ll see an option Text next to the Your Saves icon. Go to Text and copy the text string to a Word File or something simular. When you copy that back into the Load By Text box on opening the program it will load your character as it would normally. Hopefully that might help you for the time being.

@Trekkie- Thanks

LtR: Ace (Alice Walters), Ms Liberty (Lucia Diaz), The American (Thomas Collins), Aaron Cross (Auram Kroz), Golden Guardian (Isabella Collins), The Bolt (Jayden Peters), Aquaran (Aran Keiler)
Founded in 1943 by War-Time superheroes intent on helping the Allied powers defeat Nazi Germany and its allies, Team Supreme has become an institution, the most publicly visable superhero team in the country and, in many places, even more trusted than the internationally endorsed W.I.L.D. The legacy of the original Team Supreme is carried on by the grandchildren of those original heroes, Thomas and Isabella Collins (the grandchildren of the original American and Miss Liberty) and Alice Walters (the grand-daughter of the original Flying Ace), as well as some unrelated recruits invited to join the team due to their simular powers to the original Team Supreme members, as well as their diverse backgrounds allowing the team to better represent the people of the country they fight to protect.
