That lamebrain thought I wrote down EmCZ. That’s my name now. Never mind, it sounds rapper-cool enough and I get free cubic zirconiums in my fan mail. My strength and flight are one and the same, really. Forcefields. The muscles I get from focusing my body on what I want the fields to do. Figures though, that I get the ONE journalist can’t read a physics equation or listen to simple instructions. I WANTED them to call me ‘Curie.’ It’s all right . . .

Force of Nature: The combined form of all four brothers. Since the form is extremely powerful, dangerous, and difficult to maintain (and requires a level of group coordination, cooperation, and agreement they haven’t yet achieved in their current incarnation), the brothers rarely use it, but they are working on it.

This form can do more powerful versions anything the individual brothers, plus some things they cant (i.e., volcanoes).

I was planning on making this a direct post, but I’m having issues, so here is a link to a google doc:

Updated Little John

When Robin Hood was just starting out, having recently set up shop in an abandoned warehouse, he met John Little. Robin was searching around the area, when he ran into a tall, strong man carrying a metal rod. The man, thinking he was in some way working for the city’s corrupt police force or the mob, engaged Robin in a fight, which spanned across the rooftops of Sherwood. After a battle lasting almost two hours, the men realized that they shared similar goals, and decided to become allies.

The Protector (for this week’s CDC. Assuming he doesn’t win, I’ll add him to my universe anyway.)

A wealthy man who had an experience which opened his eyes to the poverty in his city. The more he analyzed the situation, the more he realized that it all came down to corruption. He informed just one man of his plans, and this man helped him create the suit. Initially going by “The Hawk,” he was initially brutal in his methods. Before long, he became substantially less extreme in his methods, becoming far more of an outright hero and renaming himself “The Protector.” However, he was still a little more willing to bend the rules than most

Eventually, the Hawk met a superhero named “Captain Meteor.” The two did not initially get along, as Captain Meteor did not approve of some of the Protector’s methods. However, they soon mostly settled their differences and became good friends. They were both the founding members of this superhero team, with Captain Meteor as the leader. After some time as a team, Meteor was killed, temporarily splitting up the team. Now, the Protector has come in with a new team.

The protector has no powers of his own, but is extremely intelligent, and his suit gives him the powers of flight, super strength, and small energy bursts.

Another B&W sketch…this time of the magic version of Stellar:

Stellar (Magic) 2018

I went back to the original costume and made her more muscular since she is more of a fighter than a projectile blaster.

Samaritan isn’t a superhero in the traditional sense. He has no powers or even a tragic backstory. He’s a nurse who was inspired by the hero Nightingale to put his skills to use helping the many masked heroes who get hurt in the field or anyone who got caught in the crossfire when heroes fought the bad guys.

Initially, Nightingale encouraged Samaritan to stick to his day job for fear that he would get hurt. She at least had super strength and durability to protect herself, should the need arise. Samaritan had none. What he had though, was determination. He wasn’t going to stop helping people.

So Nightingale asked friend and fellow hero Static to build Samaritan a set of armor that would offer him some form of protection. Now Samaritan is much better equipped for his mission and often works directly with Nightingale. They have both earned the respect of many superheroes and even a number of villains who have decreed that the medics are off limits and not to be harmed.

While he may not be as skilled as Nightingale, Samaritan is learning quickly. He may not be a super hero but Samaritan is definitely a hero.Samaritan
