Real Name: Scott Stewart
Genre: Superhero
Powers/Special Skills: none
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: bulletproof armor, artificial glider wings
Affiliations: none
Other Aliases: Thunderhawk (rumored)
Status: active
Bio:
Scott is a welder for a small company in Caligo. At his house on the outskirts of the metropolis, his secret hobby is making metal sculptures with scraps he brings home from work. His favorite was a strange bird-like man with huge wings.

One day, while he and his crew were repairing a leaking water pipe beneath the city, the villain Temblor created a huge seismic disturbance during a fight with the Miracle Men. All of the men in Scott’s crew but him were killed. Scott himself spent three weeks in the hospital.

When he had healed from his injuries, Scott seemed to have a new lease on life – and his duty in it.

Using his metallurgic skills, Scott created a suit of nearly impenetrable steel with a helmet and a large set of wings. He then set to the task of stopping as much crime in Caligo as he could. Since then he has become a well-known symbol of justice for the citizens of the city.

Just recently, a similar hero has surfaced, bearing the name Thunderhawk. Some believe it is Scott in disguise, attempting to throw off his enemies, but none really know.

Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: technological suit grants an array of abilities
Affiliations: Mega Men
Other Aliases: none
Status: active
Bio:

But on his first mission the suit malfunctioned and he was captured by a terrorist group known as the Crimson Cabal. The US government denied any ties with Jim, and he was tortured for weeks before a daring escape after reclaiming the suit. He made his way back to the States, no longer feeling his obligation to the government. He had a close friend working at Brainstorm Industries fix the suit’s bugs, and he had soon hit the streets as the Ironaut, metal-clad superhero. The suit’s capabilities include flight, night and infrared vision, energy blasts, computer interfacing, communications espionage and jamming, and bulletproof armor.

Jim soon saw the advantages of a team effort, and he began seeking out superheroes to join a new group called the Mega Men.

Alias: Iron Maiden
Real Name: Priscilla Payne
Genre: Supervillain (unwillingly)
Powers/Special Skills: metal body
Special Weapons/Tools/Armor: none
Affiliations: Electromagnus
Other Aliases: none
Status: deceased
Bio:
Priscilla and her twin brother Parker were the children of Dr. Peggy Payne, a chemist looking for efficient ways to break down the consistency of metals. She invented two gadgets to help with this, one being a pair of gloves capable of unforming and reforming metals, which was discovered and used by Parker, and an entire suit made of semi-liquid metal that could be shaped to fit the wearer like glove and could protect he or she against heat or stray chunks when working with metal. Priscilla found, donned, and became one with this suit.

But like her brother, Priscilla had dormant mutant genes, and when she put on the suit, it fused with her DNA and she herself became a piece of human steel, unharmed by most attacks, incredibly dense and heavy, and superstrong.

Both twins were sent by their mother to Power House, a boarding school for super-powered kids, where they continued their education and learned to control their powers. They then had a short stint as a crime-fighting duo.

But tragedy struck when the supervillain Electromagnus first encountered and then became overcome with desire for Priscilla. With vast magnetic powers, he was entranced by her shiny silver body and impenetrable skin. So, using his magnetokinesis, he forced his will upon her, and she was powerless to resist his commands. She served as his lover and assistant for many months until Parker (as Forge) finally caught up to them. Seeing that he could not bring Priscilla back to the side of good, and fearing that her strength and nigh-invincibility would help Electromagnus conquer the city, Parker did that which he wanted least. He laid his hands on his twin sister and melted her into a harmless puddle.

A note on the above post, and an apology – I couldn’t shade it because my browser slows down horribly with this many objects already… But I just got a fancy new PC so I’ll fix it soon.

@Rick Blair- TBH, I don’t think you did much wrong, other than you probably should have put your Heromachine username in the title of the entry on Deviantart, as per the competition rules. Deviantart is a bit funny about linking directly to pictures, it used to do it, but now it doesn’t. If you want to link directly to the picture rather than the host page, I’d suggest uploading to the forums here. The site lets you open images in a new tab and copy that hyperlink. I don’t think djuby will have a problem with it as is though (might still want to update the title).
