As some of you may have noticed, I changed my avatar. Thus, I’d like to introduce the character seen in my new avatar, Commodore Ulysses Vega:

Occupation: Commanding officer of Battlefleet Alpha-3 of the Terran Colonial Starfleet
Special Notes: Heavily genetically augmented, as all Republic military personnel are.
Bio: Not all humans are citizens of the Galactic Consortium or scattered across the independent Frontier worlds. Far beyond the Consortium’s reach, other large-scale human civilizations thrive. Greatest among these is the Terran Colonial Republic, a proud military republic founded by the descendants of some of the earliest human interstellar explorers. Thus far, they’ve maintained neutral relations with the Galactic Consortium, but the Consortium’s sudden annexation of numerous Frontier systems got their attention. So far, no open conflict exists between the two, but the Republic has agreed to begin providing humanitarian aid to Frontier worlds. Commodore Ulysses Vega is one of the men in charge of this venture. A veteran of the first and second Scorpius Wars, Commodore Vega has fought from one end of the Rim to the other. He was assigned to assist independent Frontier worlds, but was caught off-guard by a Consortium war-fleet, which attacked his ships on sight, thus dragging the Republic into war against the Consortium. Since then, Vega has found himself often working alongside the hodgepodge fleets of the Frontier Alliance, and, while as a military commander, he find their lack of organization appalling, he can’t fault their effectiveness at times.

Ms. Ultra- Gabriella Haynes
Powers: Peak Physical Condition, Adaptive Muscle Memory, Photo-Reflexes
A former star athlete, Gabriella Haynes life began on a downward spiral after failing to make the cut on her athletics team. Fearing she may be losing her edge after failing to get back on the team, she experimented with performance enhancing drugs. The drugs worked and got her back on the team, until she was caught and banned for life. The ban also ended up costing Haynes her job when the police got involved. Unable to make ends meet, she ended up volunteering for a secret experiment that would alter her very genetic makeup. Nowstronger, faster and with greater stamina than ever before, alongside reflexes far beyond any normal human, Gabriella works for Criminal Enterprises as an enforcer/ operative, most commonly facing off against Red Kite, The Angels and King Hawk/ Queen Eagle.

Formerly a mild-mannered intern working in the laboratories of Magnadyne Enterprises, a bizarre accident involving reverse-engineered alien teleportation technology catapulted Biff Gordon across space and time to a distant world of magic and adventure. Stumbling upon an ancient magical sword housing the soul of a long-dead dragon king, Biff was swept up in a years-long adventure to hunt down the evil usurper-king of the dragons and kill him with the enchanted sword to restore the rightful dragon dynasties to power. Years later, when Magnadyne succeeded in safely replicating the process that sent Biff to the other world, they found him there as a famous adventurer, serving alongside many new friends he made on his initial unexpected quest.

The hair has well ended up as hair, the nooses ended up as part of the gunsling, trim on the top, and arm tentacles.

Condor- Frank McCoy
Powers: None (Expert marksman with extensive hand-to-hand and weapons based combat expertise)
A killer for hire, Frank McCoy got the nickname Condor due to his impressive kill rate, it was said that if he was sent to get you, you might as well already have Condors circuling above you. Despite his profession, he does have a twisted sense of honour and prefers to give his targets a chance to fight back, as it makes the eventual kill more satisfying One of Red Kite’s greatest foes, not only because of his almost relentless targeting of her, but also because, unbeknownst to either of them, they share a real life connection; Kate Quinn happens to be best friends with McCoy’s daughter, Maria.
Maria McCoy
Powers: None
Best friends with Kate Quinn since childhood, Maria is one of very few people to know of her friends double life as the superhero Red Kite. A journalist and something of an amateur sleuth, she provides a lot of support to her friend through her inquisitive nature and intuition. However, one mystery she hasn’t been able to figure out is that her father is actually the supervillain, Condor, though luckily for her and Kate, he hasn’t worked out Red Kite’s identity yet either.

Henry the concierge at ‘The Forester,’ five star restaurant, never got used to Jerry the midget waiter. Couldn’t fault him for service or skill, though; had to keep him.

The nooses were only cooking twine–I intended more but the pic kind of grew too quickly. The hair became frills for the bird and parts of the trivet and arugula bed under the seafood. The alien / head item became most of both trivets, the bird’s neck, most of the seafood claws. The secret here? I started this pic while hungry.
