We're Back!
As you could tell if you tried to visit the site yesterday, we got hacked again. I believe I've once more deleted the malicious files, and I reinstalled the security plugin to try to prevent it from coming back. We'll see.

Kaldath's Character Challenge #7
Ladies and Gentlemen, fellow Machiners, this week on Kaldath's character challenge I want to see your very best redesign of one of my favorite creations. I submit into your creative care "The Silver Owl"
This one is a total free for all for you guys to go wild on. I had absolutely not character history or power set in mind when I created this character. The only think I can say about her is that I had "The Sorceress" from the old He-Man and the Masters of the Universe in mind as an inspiration for her appearance, so I see her as a modern day SuperHero Shaman, or Mage type character, but you are not limited by that, make her anything you want!
The Rules:
Changing the rules to a SINGLE entry from each of you, more like the old pop quiz contests. In addition to that you must keep your creations within the rules of the forum and blog so keep that in mind when creating your entries. You have until Tuesday January 28th at 12 noon Eastern Time to submit your entry and I will I be announcing the winner on the following day. Good Luck everyone and having Machining!

I most say even though it was a very short clip, I think they went with an interesting take on Wonder Woman, though I am not sure I like the costume design they went with here.

Character Design Contest ♯57- Old School: Energy Blaster
This week I want you guys to create an energy blaster type character. I want to see your characters using their powers, but apart from that you can go wild. Hero/ villain, Modern or Golden Age, doesn't matter.
As per usual, no limits on entries this week, the contest will close at midnight Saturday (blog time). The winner gets to claim a custom made item from dblade to be put into heromachine, so long as the item conforms to his prize rules, which you can find here: http://www.heromachine.com/forum/the-heromachine-art-gallery/dblades-whiz-bang-item-dispenser/. Please read the contest rules before entering, have fun and good luck.
Rules for posts, contests, and challenges that I am hosting: Original characters only, no copyrighted characters, no characters based on copyrighted characters, no characters based on RPG’s or other games. Back From The Basement
Coff coff. Did'nt you hear my screaming? I was trapped in a humongous cobweb on my way to the basement. It took me days to get out of it while hiding from that monster spider.
But hey - guess what I found, when I finally got downstairs? An old tattoo parlor! What, you don't believe me? Well, I brought prove. Therefore you'll find 3 new sets with a total of 360 (!) tattoo motives in the insignia category: Insignia/TattoosAnimal, Insignia/TattoosMisc, and Insignia/TattoosTribals.
If you don't know what to do with them, maybe take a look in this forum thread, where I posted a few characters that I've done with photoshop some time ago. Of course you will find all the materials I used there in the new sets. So, there you go - have at it... 😉
Phew, now I'm exhausted. Wait ... didn't somebody say something about a garage sale?! Hmmm....
