@Ubiquitous Pixel: It would be an interesting fight, but I get the feeling that they'd probably just end up chatting about universal fundamentals and the meaning of existance. I mean, I'd hope that's what would happen, because otherwise we'd all be pretty screwed. Well, if Arcane/ Void can even find The Extant.... segue

The Eldar, due to their fantastic cosmic power, are viewed as potential targets for the power hungry and, as such, are adept at hiding themselves, whether in the depths of space, throughout time or within their own pocket dimension. However, only one hides in plain sight. The Eldar were the first humanoid beings and all humanoid life evolved to ape the template they laid out, so it should be obvious that at least one of them would choose to hide away amongst the trillions upon trillions of humanoid life-forms in the universe and, to add a further layer of protection, they don't even know they're hiding. Sempi Turner is the human disguise for the Eldar known as The Veil (the twin and cover for the fantastic reality bending power of The Extant), constantly in a state of life, death and rebirth across multiple realities. It is unknown why The Veil chose Earth as her hiding place, but she has lived her since the dawn of humanity. As her human form dies of, The Veil will access the power of her twin and influence the creation of a new human life to conceal herself within in a different reality. This is done by instinct, The Veil (who essentially is the human) doesn't even know she is doing it, but it is essential for her survival. If the human form becomes aware of their role as The Veil, they may become able to access the power of The Extant and be able to manipulate reality, thus setting The Extant free and potentially destroying The Veil (and, in the worst case scenario, reality itself). An interesting phenomina has been noted by those that study The Eldar. When an Eldar dies, their Heartcore is drawn to the location of The Veil and The Extant. This could potentially mean that she has the power to resurrect them, or it could just be that they find comfort in being near their family and the twins are the only Eldar to live in one place consistantly (if not always within the same reality as her siblings).

I'm very sorry I missed the deadline. You have the option of extension or choosing 3 more items and a new deadline. The current facility I work at is heavily into erratically limiting web access, and I can't do this at home--two kids, one special needs, a wife with a job on opposite shift, an elder, just moved, etc. . . . and of course I do need a little sleep. I can't say when my participation will be more regularized.

Here's the late piece in case you choose to accept.

"I'm OKAY Mom."
The dam burst and flooded out the Valentine's Day Parade, mama. I'm okay, but I think I can say that 'floats'--DON'T! I would never skype like this with anyone but you, Mom.

The hearts weren't just in the dress, they were also butterfly wings, a facial mud smear, and extra leaves, mostly hidden. The eyes were flowers, the left sodden white glove. Three teddy bears made her right hand, one made the butterfly body, and the 'hidden' aspect of them made soggy eyelashes. There were add'l plans that didn't happen. Enjoy.

I see you have created a powerful character and I challenge you with my Arcane/Void to verse her ha ha! Just kidding, I came by to say I love your cosmic/celestial beings and stories dude. Keep it up :). Extant is very cool and quite pretty to look at!

The most powerful of all of The Eldar, The Extant has power over reality itself. Able to traverse dimensions, manipulate outcomes and change anything on a whim, The Extant is, without a doubt, the strongest being in existance. Which is where her twin comes in. Much like The Muses, The Extant is a multiform being, in this case a distinct pair (unlike The Muses four aspects of a whole), with The Extant being the power and her twin sister, The Veil, being the check to that power, a way to ensure that realitydoesn't fall into chaos.

Moonbeam and Sunbeam are the daughters of the brothers Red Star and Black Star and the Twin Sisters Sun Spot and Solar Storm ( Sun Spot and Black Star are the parents of Moon Beam, Solar Storm and Red Star are parents of Sun Beam Beam)
Both cousins have the ability to absorb, store and processes light; uses the energy to fly and create destructive bursts of coherent radiation. Their energy capacity is virtually limitless. They are capable of manipulating light externally to create illusions and even solid light constructs, as well as render themselves and others invisible. They can convert their body completely into any wavelength on the EM Spectrum. No physical harm from impact can come to them in this form. This process can also be used to repair damage sustained while in physical form (they can also encase themselves in energy force fields). As pure energy, he can travel at the speed of light and cross space unassisted.
