I enjoy your string of cosmic designs
Whoops. Never added my username:
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. Jack's uncle is a former college professor who was fired for his weird experiments, and then he became a full time mad scientist. Jack enlisted his uncles help to build a device for his right hand that would allow him to summon jets of flame. He then chopped off his own hand and had his uncle build a powerful robotic replacement.
For this week's CDC: Seth.
The Egyptian mythology book Jack Zee found was a bit... different. Attached to the front cover was a gem with magical properties, which drew Jack to the book and specifically to the myth of Seth. When he decided to create a personal based on Seth, Jack decided, he thought on a mere whim, to place the gem in the collar of the mask. As it turns out, the gem was actually posessed by an entity claiming to be Seth, who has given Jack Zee immense power while also making him insane.
When the entity is partially in control (basically anytime Jack is wearing the mask) , Jack has enhanced speed, strength, agility endurance, intelligence, and combat skills. When the entity completely takes over, Jack is completely unkillable, and has the powers of shapeshifting, telekinesis, and some degree of mind control.

The President of the Cosmic Council and the Galactic Republic as a whole, Xenos' period of leadership has been defined by a period of conflict and uncertainty not seen since the days before the formation of the Republic. Politics between the member systems of the Republic has always been fraught with controversy and delicate manueverings in the chamber and behind closed doors have been able to forge alliences that have kept the peace for generations. However, this has brought about a system that sees much of the power lie in the hands of a select few peoples, the four most important being; the Rkuten of Makatra (a people well versed in commerce and information, known as a financial power in the Republic), the Costrilians of Costrila (the resource power, with a system rich in rare and useful minerals), the Svetalen of Prisax-V (the great foundry of the Republic, who create all of the technology that keeps the gears turning amongst the systems) and the Damourans of Damoura (best known as the soldiers of the Republic as their people make up a significant proportion of the security forces for the Republic). The power balance between these four races is crucial for the survival of the Republic, especially recently, as a trade dispute has been brewing between the Rkuten and the Costrilians. This did not escalate into open hostilities until the Omnion crisis, which saw the Svetalen become pariahs of the Republic and loose a large amount of their influence. With the balance of power shifted, a war erupted over the trade dispute and raged across the Republic, threatening its complete collapse.
They’d probably fist bump and create a new Big Bang in the universe.
Also, I like Veil. The use of that specific nose, I wouldn’t have thought to use for a human type character. Gives her a button nose kind of...which makes her pretty in my eyes. Yes, I have a type.
@Ubiquitous Pixel: It would be an interesting fight, but I get the feeling that they'd probably just end up chatting about universal fundamentals and the meaning of existance. I mean, I'd hope that's what would happen, because otherwise we'd all be pretty screwed. Well, if Arcane/ Void can even find The Extant.... segue

The Eldar, due to their fantastic cosmic power, are viewed as potential targets for the power hungry and, as such, are adept at hiding themselves, whether in the depths of space, throughout time or within their own pocket dimension. However, only one hides in plain sight. The Eldar were the first humanoid beings and all humanoid life evolved to ape the template they laid out, so it should be obvious that at least one of them would choose to hide away amongst the trillions upon trillions of humanoid life-forms in the universe and, to add a further layer of protection, they don't even know they're hiding. Sempi Turner is the human disguise for the Eldar known as The Veil (the twin and cover for the fantastic reality bending power of The Extant), constantly in a state of life, death and rebirth across multiple realities. It is unknown why The Veil chose Earth as her hiding place, but she has lived her since the dawn of humanity. As her human form dies of, The Veil will access the power of her twin and influence the creation of a new human life to conceal herself within in a different reality. This is done by instinct, The Veil (who essentially is the human) doesn't even know she is doing it, but it is essential for her survival. If the human form becomes aware of their role as The Veil, they may become able to access the power of The Extant and be able to manipulate reality, thus setting The Extant free and potentially destroying The Veil (and, in the worst case scenario, reality itself). An interesting phenomina has been noted by those that study The Eldar. When an Eldar dies, their Heartcore is drawn to the location of The Veil and The Extant. This could potentially mean that she has the power to resurrect them, or it could just be that they find comfort in being near their family and the twins are the only Eldar to live in one place consistantly (if not always within the same reality as her siblings).
I'm very sorry I missed the deadline. You have the option of extension or choosing 3 more items and a new deadline. The current facility I work at is heavily into erratically limiting web access, and I can't do this at home--two kids, one special needs, a wife with a job on opposite shift, an elder, just moved, etc. . . . and of course I do need a little sleep. I can't say when my participation will be more regularized.
Here's the late piece in case you choose to accept.

"I'm OKAY Mom."
The dam burst and flooded out the Valentine's Day Parade, mama. I'm okay, but I think I can say that 'floats'--DON'T! I would never skype like this with anyone but you, Mom.

The hearts weren't just in the dress, they were also butterfly wings, a facial mud smear, and extra leaves, mostly hidden. The eyes were flowers, the left sodden white glove. Three teddy bears made her right hand, one made the butterfly body, and the 'hidden' aspect of them made soggy eyelashes. There were add'l plans that didn't happen. Enjoy.
