Sasha Clifford was working as a bartender at a local Arizona State University bar while struggling to complete her studies at Northern Arizona University. Sasha always closed the bar on Friday and Saturday nights. One night while she was walking home after closing a few drunk frat boys tried accosting her, but she managed to pepper spray them and run away. Fearing they would chase her to her apartment and not wanting them to know where she lived, Sasha took a series of alleys to her apartment and fell over a large rock. Picking the pretty rock up, which happened to be irradiated moon rock from an asteroid, Sasha felt suddenly ill. Managing to get to her apartment Sasha was sick for a few days and when she felt better, her GorWol trait manifested giving her some photonkinetic and umbrakinetic powers.  Moonlighting as a vigilante for a few months Sasha interviewed for and was accepted as a member of the reformed Stark City Sentinels meta hero team. Equinox has some light and darkness control powers. She can absorb light and redirect it as an energy blast, can go almost invisible and heal herself in the presence of light.  Her darkness powers allow her to create a total blackout, blind people and teleport short distances through shadows.  Since joining the Sentinels Equinox has become proficient in Kung Fu and security systems.

Crissy and Jannice Tilly were twin sisters with very different personalities. Crissy was a tomboy and grew up to be a fitness instructor. Jannice was the studious one and became an assistant DA in California. One day while they took a hike in Nevada they observed a shooting star land near them. When they investigated the crash site the cosmic energy fused both their bodies into one being. The Stark City Foundation found them and brought them to their lab to assist in their transition. They also provided a new identity for them and eventually moved them to their hero team The Star City Sentinels. As Solstice, CJ, as she/they now called herself/themself, found it difficult to focus with one sister in control. When Solstice’s adrenaline goes up, Crissy tends to dominate, when thinking is involved, Jannice tends to dominate. That does not always work out and the sisters fight over control all the time, often times switching in the middle of a battle. Solstice has five main powers, super strength (40 tons), flight, solar beams, invulnerability and healing. When Crissy is in control Solstice’s strength, solar beams and invulnerability are at their max. When Jannice is in control Solstice is not as strong or tough, but heals faster.

Carson Norris worked as a big game tour guide and tracker all over Africa after his stint in the British SAS. He tracked prey for wealthy clients allowing them perfect shots for their trophy case. One day while in Kenya on a hunt with a wealthy American named Costanzo, Carson overheard Costanzo talking via satellite radio to someone ordering a hit on an American District Judge. Thinking nothing of it since Carson also lived outside some laws of men, he continued with the hunt. Costanzo, realizing Carson may have overheard something he should not have heard, ordered one of his men to make Carson have an accident. The underling shot Carson in the back and he fell down into a gully where a pride of lions called home. The lions looked upon Carson as a kindred spirit and He stayed with them until his GorWol trait healed him. He then trekked back to civilization, made his way to Chicago and hunted the mafia Don Costanzo as Predator. After killing Costanzo Carson began hunting other heroes and criminals as prey. Predator has increased speed, reflexes, endurance and senses. He can also regenerate and heal from wounds. He fashioned and uses two super strong and sharp tempered steel claws, one on each hand.

Nigel Daltrey was a stage actor in Leeds when he was mugged on his way back to his flat after a work party. When he resisted the muggers beat him into a coma. His GorWol trait manifested to keep him alive and during his time in the coma his skin turned blue and metallic. He awoke fully healed but no longer the same person. Approached by the UK Government as a possible Government sponsored hero, Nigel turned them down and fled, angry for losing his previous life. He was found by Mystik who helped him adjust to his new body, power and life. Eventually Nigel joined Bannerman’s Fyrd as Starbolt. Starbolt can generate and control cosmic enegy. He can shoot energy blasts, create force shields, and shape his cosmic energy into simple constructs. He is also able to fly and can lift 10 tons. Nigel possesses tremendous cosmic energy powers and in time he will be as powerful as Stargazer but he is still learning what he can do.

Yousef Abdulhak grew up as a poor kid in Yemen working in the market at whatever job he could find. When he was old enough he joined the local Al Qeada Yemeni terrorist cell and worked his way up from a raw recruit to a respected killer. Eventually he was selected by his Al Qaeda cell leader to be experimented on by rogue scientists looking to inject processed DNA captured from the deceased hero Thunderfist and local Yemeni scorpion dna. The process was a moderate success as Yousef gained enhanced strength (20 tons, short of Thunderfists full strength) and reflexes, but did not receive any enhanced durability. He did gain the ability to secrete a paralytic poison that attacks through the skin. Outfitted with armor a cybernetic tail and hand blades Yousef was dubbed the Deathstalker and was unleashed upon his leaders enemies in Yemen and Saudi Arabia. Eventually he grew disgusted by what he saw as his supposed terrorist leaders were not in fact morally religious individuals. Questioning his leaders back in Yemen the arguement became violent when he slew them all easily. He then set off on his own selling his services to the highest bidder as muscle, enforcer, mercenary, assassin, etc. He frequently fights European meta heroes including Bannerman and his troop, Commander Ion, Praetorian and Kataphraktos. He has not journeyed to the states yet.

Haley Burroughs was a London street waif living mostly among abandoned houses in and near the Barnet Borough. When she was 16 years old she observed the new British hero Bannerman making his second debut in London while battling the villain Powerlance. During the fight an abandoned industrial building began to fall on top of Haley but she leapt away and saved a few minor kids also watching the battle. Bannerman observed her actions and after vanquishing Powerlance he tracked her down as Sir Thomas Lumley. Taking her out to eat he determined she had a nice heart, worked with the police to expunge her juvenile record of theft, and took her as his ward back to Rotterham. There he had private tutors educate her on all manner of topics and after acing her secondary tests was sent off to Oxford to pursue an education in business management. During all of this time Sir Thomas and Mystik schooled her on how to use her meta powers of duplication. Soon after she graduated she returned to Rotterham, started working in Sir Thomas’ finance firm and began adventuring as Lady Valour in the Fyrd. Lady Valour has the meta power of duplication- she can duplicate powers from other meta humans she touches. She cannot duplicate mental powers, magic nor skills, and there is a limit on how powerful her duplication powers work. She can duplicate Bannermans whole strength of lifting 20 tons, but could not duplicate Guardians whole strength of lifting 25 tons. She was able to duplicate both Solarblaze and Illuminators powers but not as strong as their inherent powers are. She can duplicate powers of up to three meta humans she touches before new powers start cancelling old ones out. The more people she duplicates powers from, the less powerful those powers are when she uses them.

Gwendolyn Mallows was working as an associate professor of Physics at the University of Bedfordshire in Bedford, England when her GorWol trait manifested. She was out jogging on a country trail for what she felt like was hours when in reality it only took 5 minutes. Stunned when she realized what she accomplished Gwen took time off from school to find out her limits. Her first actual hero act took place when she stopped a mugger steal from an old lady in her neighborhood. After that she began patrolling her town acting as an unsanctioned vigilante. Eventually she was tracked down by Mystik who offered her training. Mystik introduced her to Bannerman and soon Gwen moved from Bedford and relocated to Lumly Castle to join Bannerman in his fledgling UK hero group- The Fyrd. Gwen and Sir Thomas are now romantically involved. As Chronomancer, Gwen has the meta power of time control. While she is not practiced enough to go into the past or future she can slow down or speed up time around a person or herself. Doing this allows her to move at super speeds, make more attacks or actions, heal herself and others faster than normal and freeze time around a target to immobilize them or slow them down. Gwen also has a Doctorate in Physics.

Nathaniel Farnsworth was a Physics Doctoral Candidate at Caltech when an experiment in the Physics lab he was working in went awry and exploded. Nathaniel was 24 at the time and the explosion caused him to go into a coma for 20 years. Caltech paid for his medical bills to avoid a lawsuit from his family but when his sister perished in a car accident Caltech pulled the plug on Nathaniels life support since she was his last remaining family member. As everyone waited for Nathaniel to slowly die his GorWol trait manifested and Nathaniel woke up 20 years from his last memory. His family was gone, his old girlfriend remarried, his doctoral paper and experiment finished by another. His life was in shambles. As he left the hospital wondering what he would now do he slipped in the rain and landed on the sidewalk concrete. When he stood up he realized his body had taken the property of the sidewalk. Rushing to a motel nearby Nathaniel experimented with what he could do. He concluded he had the meta power to absorb and replicate materials and transform his body to those elements. He took the name Dr. Dread and went on a minor crime spree in the Los Angeles area until confronted by American Star and Thebe. He then went underground and remains hidden. Dr. Dread has the power of material duplication in all three phases (solid, gas, liquid) His strength increases in solid form to the hardness of what he is duplicating (with a max observed limit of 40 tons). When in energy form he can absorb outside power sources of the same energy to heal himself. While he is a new meta villain, his abilities are extremely powerful.

Sir Thomas Richard Lumley is the 14th Earl of Scarbrough in England. He can trace his family’s lineage to a Norman knight who crossed over with William the Conqueror at the Battle of Hastings. His family has since served the British Isles as warriors and protectors. Sir Tommy (as he is called) served a stint in the 1st Para then completed his advanced studies at Oxford and entered the finance world. He spent a few years in London establishing his name and accumulating tremendous wealth until he suddenly retired to start his own finance house in his families estate at Rotterham. It was soon after he retired to the countryside that a new meta hero named Bannerman began to appear in London. Sir Thomas unknowingly manifested during a game of squash at his old club. Remembering how his ancestors fought for England, Sir Thomas decided to follow in the family tradition. He was befriended by Mystik who constructed a magical teleportation device in Lumley Castle to assist Sir Thomas in his endeavors. The device allows him to instantly move to any place located in the British Isles. Now Sir Thomas is Bannerman a Champion of the United Kingdom and leader of the Fyrd. Bannerman possesses enhanced endurance, reflexes, agility, and strength (20 tons). He is also very durable, able to withstand small arms fire and most bladed weapons. His leg strength allows him to leap vast distances and heights. Sir Thomas is also an Oxford educated economist and businessman.

OK. I am not very tech savvy and if I cannot get it to work with a few smacks I usually go get a new one. Sucks that guests cannot see the new posts. I wonder if this is happening to anyone else or am I just techno-cursed?
