It looks great. Good 3/4 posing. If you wanted to shade further, I would try and clear patterns, save them for the very las step. Patterns tend to really slow down the machine.

Very cool! I love soldier/destroyer type characters with weapons instead of hands, no room for creativity or compassion there.

Whipped these guys up quick this morning. Nothing fancy and no real story behind them, just playing around with companion items.

Hmm… I never did post those individual shots of AZTECH. Here you go:

QUETZALCOATL – Patterned after the Feathered Serpent, God of Winds. Xol’s favorite suit. A supersonic flight-suit. The neural interface in Q’s systems enhances Xol’s natural reaction time and thought processes exponentially, allowing his mind to keep up with the high-velocity movements of the suit.

HUITZILOPOCHTLI – Warsuit. Patterned after the God of War. H’s suit is designed only for battle. Instead of workable gauntlets it’s main arms end in powerful energy discharge cannons. The secondary forelimbs house high-density vibrating blades. H can propel itself at blinding speeds thanks to the harmonic energy wings manifesting from its back. The neural interface of this suit boosts aggression in its wearer, floods the body with adrenaline and inhibits pain receptors in the nervous system.

TEZCATLIPOCA – Stealth/recon suit. Patterned after the Jaguar God of Smoke and Mirrors. Tezcatlipoca only slightly enhances Xol’s natural strength and durability, favoring an indirect approach. The suit absorbs ambient light energy and vibration to deaden sound and plunge it’s vicinity into darkness. It is capable of entering a temporary intangible/invisible state. It can also emit hallucinogenic smoke and generate a massive EMP pulse should the need for immediate extraction be required. The neural interface of Tezcatlipoca greatly enhances Xol’s sense of hearing and allows him to see beyond the visual spectrum.

TLALOC – Deep ocean diver. Patterned after the God of Storms and Water. The slowest, but by far the most durable of the suits. Tlaloc is immensely strong can move normally at even the most crushing pressures. Its neural interface allows Xol to sense 360 degrees around himself in an approximate radar sense. His right arm houses an electrical Arc Cannon, capable of generating devastating bolts of lightning.

TONATIUH – Deep space explorer. Patterned after the God of the Sun. Broad spectrum energy processor. Can absorb massive amounts of energy from different sources to power its Graviton Emitters. Tonatiuh can create massive gravity wells or weaken existing gravitational forces for devastating effects. The neural interface in Tonatiuh greatly enhances the processing power of Xol’s brain, allowing him to mentally calculate his movements and manipulate these titanic forces.

COATLICUE – Last resort massive world-breaking destroyer. Patterned after the Mother Goddess, the Creator and Destroyer. Coatlicue is a giant mech suit that Xol can pilot directly or interface through any of his other suits. Its strength is immeasurable and its chest houses an Anti-matter Heart. A portal through which Coatlicue can fire concentrated bursts of Uncreation, ripping apart all that it touches on the atomic level.

Combining the loose straps/buckles with the cloth boots is brilliant. Totally using (stealing) that in the future. Beautiful shading on that scarf too.

He looks amazing! Love the facial expression you captured. Plus the “indestructible speedo” look is always a good route to go for this guy. Nice detail on the black nails, too.

I took a quick stab at one of your earlier entries on this thread, the Outlander. I love the cosmic feel and the color scheme (though I think I went a little lighter than your original). As a bonus I tried to give it a patented AMS cropped background. Hope you like it:

Thanks, guys! Always puts a smile on my face when people other than me like my stuff.

A quick group shot of another project (still Latino themed), I’ll probably post individual shots tomorrow.

    AZTECH

Xol Xihuitl (through classic comic book mishaps and shenanigans) came to house a dimensional tesseract in his chest that made him one with an extra-dimensional armory of specialized tech suits. The armory responds to the psyche of the tesseract-wielder, and thus the armors adapted to his physiology and also shaped themselves after the Aztec deities of his childhood. Xol can summon each suit at will and fights for a better world under the guise of Aztech. Pictured:

    Tonatiuh: Space exploration suit/graviton manipulator

    Quetzalcoatl: Supersonic flight suit/favored suit

Coatlicue: Last resort worldbreaking destroyer suit/anti-matter cannon wielder

Huitzilopochtli: War-machine, too many weapons systems to count/harmonic energy wings

Tlaloc: Deep sea explorer/arc cannon/practically invincible

    Tezcatlipoca: Stealth suit/invisibility/intangibility/ EMP generator

    Two more,  from my birth-country.

    MUERTO

    Name: Unknown

    Nationality: Mexican

    Gender: Cisgender Man

Bio: Nothing is known of the man known as Muerto. From rumors tracing back the history of his sightings it has been surmised that he arose from a mass grave outside of Juarez. He could have been one of dozens of victims, all having met the same grisly fate caught in the crossfire of a narco turf war. It is rumored that he was murdered on the Day of the Dead, and being able to walk freely among the living at that time, his spirt rejected the afterlife to seek vengeance. He allowed his body to be resurrected by dark forces. Since that moment he has been waging a one man war on the criminal underworld of Mexico.

Powers: Muerto is undead, meaning he cannot be killed by mortal means. His body can be damaged, but the mysterious dark matter making up his form is able to piece itself back together from even the most grievous injuries. His touch kills living tissue and accelerates decay, literally rotting his victims alive.

    DOÑA BÁRBARA

Name: José Guadalupe Longoria Rosales de León

    Nationality: Mexican

    Gender: Non-binary (muxe)

Bio: Doña Bárbara lives in Northern México and his/her small village remains untouched by the violence that afflicts his/her community. The narcos are too superstitious to threaten him/her, so his/her locality remains something of a safe zone. Muerto came to him/her when he was first reborn, trying to understand how he came to be. He/She aided him, allowed him to understand his abilities, and still provides him a place to rest when he needs respite from his endless crusade of death and violence.

Powers: Doña Bárbara is what is known as One Who Walks Between the Veils, not quite a medium, but still able to perceive the unseen world of the supernatural all around us. This makes him/her an especially talented sorceror/sorceress. He/She is learned in the lore and arts of the ancient civilizations of her native land, skilled in all manner of offensive/defensive spells and incantations. It is not wise to cross him/her.
