StulteParticipantNice posing on Avian! I really like Manticore’s mask, may I ask how you did that?

HammerknightParticipantGreat bunch of characters.
June 25, 2014 at 1:37 pm #41479
ViperParticipantKreg and Manticore are very cool.

JeimuzuParticipantI really like Avian’s costume and posing, but my favorite part has to be all the birds gathering around him, that was a very nice touch.

Thanks and it is the Nabu helmet masked onto a shape and the face mask looking thing in masks with several of the fin(Golden age space hero looking thing) in the first page of Mask-standard angled to look like a mane.

It’s little details that sell an image. Thanks.
Here’s a contest entry, based on the Byrd song Turn, Turn, Turn! and also the biblical quote the song comes from
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4ga_M5Zdn4&feature=kpIt made me think of the last speech a hero would give before he sacrifices himself for his comrades. “There is a time for everything. A time to live and a time to die. I’m afraid its the latter for me. Go on, I’ll hold them off.”

VampyristParticipantThe Man Comes Around

I see them as an angel of death who are found near death sites, similar to the Observers in Fringe.

LegatusParticipantThis week’s contest really got your creative juices flowing. Good!
July 2, 2014 at 11:08 pm #41803
VampyristParticipantThanks and here is someone I may enter into the contest. He fits into a steampunk universe, but his actual personage does not denote as such.
Captain Magnus Leonhardt of the Prussian Fliegerkorps, captain of the SMS Barbarossa, a Damocles class Battle zepellin.

StulteParticipantWell, now there’s drool on my keyboard, that can’t be good for it.
July 5, 2014 at 4:46 am #41921
VampyristParticipantThank you, your work was a huge inspiration for him. Your world was so fascinating, it inspired me to create Magnus and hopefully a few more colorful characters. Also here is his ship, the SMS Barbarossa, a Damocles class battle ship.

JeimuzuParticipantThe Barbarossa looks amazing. I don’t know much about boat/ship terminology, but what I believe is called the mast, looks very cool.
July 5, 2014 at 5:00 pm #41943
StulteParticipantThank you! I’m very glad you like my world building, especially considering your designs and clean approach to colouring were great inspirations for me as well.
And yeah, the Barbarossa is awesome.

VampyristParticipantThanks for the kind words. Here is Jean Claude Leroux, a french spy and hero.
